I recently ordered some chocolates for a family member living in the Raleigh area. They absolutely loved them!! The owner was incredibly helpful with helping me arrange for them to be delivered. This is customer service at it's best!This is a company that is not only passionate about making amazing chocolate but one that truly cares about it's customers. I highly recommend visiting them.
Azurelise is not only some of the best chocolate in the Triangle, it's some of the best chocolate I've eaten. I've gifted it to a number of friends and family members, and all agree: this tiny chocolatier, run out of a residential home, makes truly memorable chocolate. Even the plain truffles are special!
I bought chocolate from here for my grandmother for mother's day! Let's just say my family devoured them, with my grandmother's permission of course. The chocolate was rich and full of genuine cocoa flavor, which is hard to find in Raleigh. The cocoa flavor I'm referring to is that of chocolate frosting or a nice warm cup of hot chocolate. I order a box of caramel filled, fruit filled, and hazelnut filled squares. The fruit filling tasted like fresh jam, which was delightful. The chocolates were fresh. This isn't commercial chocolate you can tell it is homemade and made with integrity. My sister and I also had a candy bar and it was dynamic!
Reginald the owner makes you feel so welcome upon entering his store. A very interesting man to talk to. I bought three chocolate bars and he also gave me one as a bonus! He was experimenting with Key Lime flavor at the time. I was the first customer to try the new flavor and it was AMAZING! The dark chocolate/key lime is a perfect combo. I wouldn't have thought that but don't hesitate buying this flavor if he has it on hand. The caramel pecan dark chocolate bar was incredible also. Also bought a box of sea salt chocolates. The sea salt caramel truffles are a must! The caramel is unlike any other caramel I have had anywhere. This is caramel to another level! Whatever your purchase you can't go wrong. I will be back next time in Raleigh for sure. Thanks Reginald!
I recently purchased a box of truffles for my wife and bought 4 chocolate bars for other family. Two bars for my daughter and son-in-law who live in Raleigh. My wife loved the selection of truffles that Reginald made. My daughter declared the chocolate bars to be “ the best she had ever had.” Chocolates from Azurelise will be at least an annual tradition.
If you are a true chocolate lover, you *need* to come here. Phenomenal! We had to wait as he packaged our chocolate and he gifted us a sea salt caramel dark chocolate bar while we waited... That bar alone is outstanding and convinced me I'd come to the right spot. Reginald, the owner, is super kind and makes the chocolate himself. FYI it totally looks like you are knocking on someone's home when you go in--no signs outside, it just says "CHOCOLATE" in the window. Definitely recommend!
I am a very good friend of Gwen E. Who sent me a box of your chocolates. My husband loves dark chocolate and I like milk chocolate, so she sent me a mixed box. I have to say, honestly, these were the BEST chocolates I have ever tasted. I plan to visit your shop soon, so that I can meet the master chocolateer and old friend of my friend.
Hands down. Best chocolates in Raleigh. If you love chocolate or looking for a gift, except no substitute. No really, my wife moans when she eats these things. Need I say more?
