Had a great lunch. Lunch menu available until 4PM. Buy delicious pastries on the way out!

Have eaten in & done take out from here many times- staff is nice and meatballs are excellent but the pasta is never properly drained- always watery at the bottom of plate and I don’t recommend the pizza. Toppings are good but the pizza crust is NOT thin as described- it is doughy, soft and wet in the middle making the pizza unpleasant.

When I go to Raleigh, I see this restaurant from the light on the left. Otherwise, I forget because it's not typically in sight, therefore it's been on my mind to try for years. It hit my brain when we were in that specific area for an event. Entrée's come with 2 garlic knots and a salad. Garlic knots were delicious. The Ceasar salad was good too but not typical. It wasn't tossed with dressing like normal, it was drizzled on and you mix it. The homemade lasagna was second to mine... it was AMAZING and enough for 2 if you wanted to split. We also got the Gnocchi which was also delicious. I considered adding grilled chicken or sausage but didn't because we also had lasagna. If it had been my only Entree and we weren't sharing I would have added meat for protein. The best part is that everything was very cheesy which made me extremely happy since I LOVE cheese. We were too full for dessert. They do close earlier than the hours indicate. We were hanging out talking and realized they were closing about 9:00 versus 11:00 on the site and Google.

I have tried this place twice and both times were a flop. The first time I got the Mona Lisa pizza and all of the toppings including the sauce slid off completely when I picked up each slice to reveal just a bare crust. The second time I got the Veal Marsala and it was the worst veal dish I have ever ordered anywhere. There was barely any sauce and the majority of my veal was tough with gristles/ inedible pieces. For the price point it should be a lot higher quality.

AlrightWe're trying to try more restaurants and have yet to find our "go to" Italian spot. We ordered the fettuccini alfredo. It wasn't bad, I ate the whole thing, but it also wasn't something Id come back for. It was very rich and creamy but also rather one note. Just creamy. No seasonings. Could have used some garlic and fresh herbs to give it more flavor. Garlic knots were okay, pretty standard, but served cold. I had to ask for them (they come with the meal) so maybe they forgot and gave us whatever was on hand that had been sitting awhile. Italian dressing on the salad was very sweet and tasted like it was from a bottle. I got tiramisu to go and it was good, very fluffy and light. Our table was kind of dirty and had used cloth napkins on the floor under us. Overall not a bad stop, but I think we'll keep looking for our Italian spot.

The atmosphere and service was very good.I was out with a group of friends and thought we would try here. The people were great and the attitude was nice and the prices weren't bad at all,but we all said the same about the food... " we had better we had worst" the pasta was under cooked, and they just covered everything in to much sauce, not a lot of flavor. It's to bad because it could be a good place to enjoy an Italian dinner with just a little work.

Great food! Though you could tell they were short staffed, they were hustling and doing their best! We had planned to go the Peddler for dinner for our Dad's birthday, and with wait times of over 2 hours, we were calling around trying to find someplace that would take 6 people! We called ahead and by the time we got there, they had a table ready for us!

The food is amazing, you can really taste how fresh everything is! The service is great and extremely friendly. Very professional and knowledgeable. Perfect hole in the wall spot for date night.

I didn't have any pizza but had the vegetarian sandwich. Pretty oily eggplant with no seasoning. Also ordered it at 6:50pm, was told it would be ready by 7:10 and had to wait until 7:45 for it. For one sandwich. Won't be coming back.

This place is such a hidden gem in North Raleigh. The food is hot, fresh, and flavorful. We have dined here many times but today I especially wanted to mention how awesome the staff are. Everywhere you go businesses are short staff and it's like that here. But they push through and give excellent customer service and are doing their best. Please be patient if you decide to dine here, which you should! It is worth the wait. So shout out to the rockstar staff for working so hard.
