The worst place I have ever been. Waiter took over 5 minutes to greet us when CONSTANTLY walking past us. The food came out extremely cold although we asked non-stop if the food was ready. To top it all off they are racist and money hungry.. we left a tip to be nice and the server asked “was this it?” And left saying this is why will never serve you kind… -200/10 experience. Definitely 0 stars if google allowed it.

I absolutely love this place! My go to dishes are the nachos and steak tacos. It’s is a little pricey but worth every penny! Customer service is always amazing and the atmosphere is very lively. The only issue is parking. This is a downtown restaurant so parking can be be annoying.

This place has great Mexican food with awesome lunch specials. Two tacos and some chips will definitely help you fill up and get back to work. Haven’t tried any drinks yet. Definitely coming back.

I want to give a 5 star review because their food is awesome. Best steak taco I've had, and cheese dip is fantastic. Been coming here for over 15 years, but in the last couple years, the cashiers have been rude. This is the first person you see, so should be someone who is good at interacting with people after a long day. I understand it's not easy to be happy all day long, but the people behind the counter just look angry. Doesn't matter how pleasant or polite you are, they just stare and scowl, acting like it is such a pain to be taking your order. Armadillo, please hire folks who can handle the rigors of working in a restaurant and still have a smile on their face when taking an order.

We stopped in for a quick bite before headed back out of town. What a great find! The staff were so warm and friendly. The food was terrific. The steak burrito was large, and filled with steak, not just a few pieces with a lot of rice. The different salsas were really good. The guac was great, and with the addition of a little of the extra spicy pico de gallo, fabulous! We ate outside in the gated area by the sidewalk. Well with the visit.

Great taco spot. Friendly staff, and good service. Queso and guac are good. There’s 2 parking spots for the restaurant in the lot next to it, you may not get lucky and need to use a pay spot which is a bummer but pay it I’ve seen the parking ticket jabronie’s checking plates a few times.

Walked in at 9:50 on a Saturday and we're rudely told that they were closed. No, your sign says 10 (on a flimsy paper sign) with half the restaurant still full. Why even post hours if you're not going to follow them?

Nice flavors, the Pico de Gallo had good consistency and was diced well for chip dipping. I had the pork with slaw burrito as well and the wings. Well priced for downtown restaurants.

Classic good eats cafe on Gelnwood has stood the test of time. Great food and fast service. Fun atmosphere. Good for families or friends meeting for a quick bite.

The food here is very lackluster, the whole vibe of the restaurant itself is very odd. Getting my order taken felt as though a school cafeteria lady was taking my order. Just very subpar, not something I'd expect from a restaurant in a downtown location.
