Anise Pho is small restaurant. It's popular for Vietnamese food. They do have outside sitting arrangement too. Thay had few vegetarian options rest they substitute with tofu. In my dish they added the fried tofu which was very chuvy. Upon request, they change it with less fried tofu. Unfortunately, the replaced tofu had so much fish smell and viered taste that I left it without eating one piece. The starter was terrible.The thai tea was OK. The other dishes like sandwiches, cilantro/lemon soup etc. Were ok too.
I will preface this by saying that I was a regular that came several times a week, until the owner decided to treat me like a cheat. Entire shelled shrimp left in pho. Bit into several and pulled shell from my mouth over and over. After being promised a refund, they came back out and offered to remake it. Then they came back and said they would not remake it “because we already ate it.” So no refund or remake, despite providing an inedible meal. The owner scowled at us from the window and left the poor waiter to do her dirty work. We know now that she was standing in the window so she could assess whether or not we ate the food before deciding what to do. Congratulations, you saved $16 and lost a customer with a lifetime value of $1000+. I know if we refused to pay, she would have taken the amount out of the waiter’s paycheck, which is illegal. Will not be returning here. Come here if you love places that mistreat their workers and cheat their customers.
I have visited many pho places in the triangle and I think this is my least favorite one. The pho was pretty bland, not very flavorful but at least they are pretty fast when delivering your food and the food looks nice visually (but they gave me the mint leaves and jalapeños separately so I placed those myself). Also, if you are coming to this place for boba, do not. The boba/bubble pearls were very hard and tough- unlike how actual boba is supposed to be -and there was more ice than the actual drink.
Amazing food and stellar curb side service. We ordered online and selected curbside pickup. And they actually called us to confirm. Curbside pickup was fast and friendly. The food was amazing. We ordered a chicken pho, a beef pho, pork sausage banh mi, chicken banh mi, lemongrass chicken dish, and chicken pot stickers. We will definitely be back.

One of the few places with vegan banh-mi style sandwiches that made it through the pandemic thus far. Really amazing food and great service. From the soup, to the sandwich, even the fries are all top notch. We’ve been at least a dozen times and each is as good as the last.
First off I’d like to say I’ve eaten here for a few years now and usually my experience is A1! Tonight I ordered takeout and my order was all messed up. I love this place and order/eat here often. I called to see if they could accommodate me in anyway since my pho showed up with none of the standard pho ingredients, they refused. Ashley was extremely RUDE and said there was no way she would do anything!I asked if I was in the restaurant and she brought the wrong item to my table would she make me pay for the item that was incorrect? She said, “No”. I asked what’s the difference here? My food came without any of the things I asked for. She proceeded to hand the phone to Aiden. He did try to help me, but didn’t really. In the end nothing was done.I love the food here, but I will NEVER order from here again just based off of how RUDE Ashley was. If you go there request any other server, don’t waste your time/money! She will only make you regret having dinner there!
Delicious pho soup with chicken, noodles, bean sprouts, scallions, cilantro, etc. Huge bowl and a soda for 11 bucks, the lunch special. Came here after going to their sister place Bee Banh Mi. Will definitely return.
This place is the best My first time trying Pho. It was was amazing!
