The biryani was good earlier so 1 star for that. The management has become money minded now and have increased the cost. Used to be my go to destination once upon a time but now I would think a hundred times before going again. The chef was a good person and used to give a lot of meat for 10$ goat biryani those days, but now the staff are not good all show off guys and flirts and don't know how to talk with customers. Very poor biryani taste now a days and they don't give enough meat. They used to send watsapp message to group regarding offers and discounts but its a waste as they sell for same menu price when you go directly and ask. Would never return here again.
One of my friend has referred this place to me. To try there Biryani as I have recently moved to NC And I had it.It is One of the best Biryani places in the Eastcoast to have the best chicken or mutton biryani. There mirchi ak Salan and Raita are very tasty when having with biryani. I will definitely recommend to try this place if you a biryani enthusiasts. Even there other menu Items are very delicious. That even have Haleem.
Love their biryani and gulab jamun, a bit of a drive but well worth it. The location also has a supermarket where a lot of middle eastern wares are found at great prices.
Awesome goat biryani and tandoori. Need to go early as it finishes soon.Too good chai too.Owners are too good and help customers.Surely my fav biryani place.
This is my second time coming here. I wanted some goat biryani so I stopped by to get some and a few samosas. I get a plate, the large, and 4 samosas. I get home, and as I started to eat some of the biryani, I immediately sift through the mound of rice covering the meat, and sure enough, there was a few pieces of goat, not even enough to share a small family. There enough meat for ONE PERSON! I love rice, but this was overkill compared to the meat ratio. Two pieces of them was nothing but bone! Look, I'm not asking for a ton of meat, but treat your customer right and they will most likely keep coming to you. I tell anyone, have no shame in your game, check your order just like anything else, and do it there! If you're not happy with the amount, they either fix the order, or get your money back. I guarantee you, the one who makes the order makes sure to get the meat when they fix it their food. Why would you serve some bones to a customer? I'm reluctant to go there again because of this. I didn't pay $15 for mostly rice, I can make rice myself. If you have nothing to hide, put the meat on top. The samosas are tasty and flavorful, but I won't order the goat anytime soon.
Their butter chicken is some of the best I've tasted, certainly the best on the East Coast. The portions were generous and the level of spice was perfect. The samosas were good too, especially with the yoghurt sauce! We plan to get takeaway here whenever we're driving through Raleigh.
Best Biryani, Samosa chat and Chicken65 in the town. The person who served us in the cafe was very friendly and generous to offer us free samples and gave my kid free drinks. It’s our first time visiting the place and very happy with the experience. Thank you!
Great biriyani at a reasonable price. They have very friendly and generous staffs too. They Offered me milk chai for free last time when I visited. Definitely a hidden gem of Raleigh when it comes to Indian food.
Best Biryani and Rogan Josh in the area. The person who runs to cafe is always courteous and goes out of his way to serve. He has always been generous with the serving quantity and even adds an extra item sometimes! Thank you
“True generosity is an offering; given freely and out of pure love. No strings attached. No expectations”It was by absolute chance – a google search – that brought Almadina Biryani Hut to my attention. As always, with places I have not dined in or taken out – I went to the reviews. I always go to the lowest reviews to see why the place was reviewed badly. Out of the 157 reviews – there were some low reviews. However, I focused on the good reviews and actually decided to go to the Almadina Biryani Hut. I ordered two samosas (I love a good samosa), just to try them and then move on actually ordering a biriyani. The person who served me requested if I wanted to taste some biriyani before buying the food. He served a generous portion as a sampler. The biriyani was full of flavor (though not as spicy as I would like) – and I ordered half a plate of Chicken Biriyani and a full serving of Chicken 65 Biriyani. On my order, the server filled up/stuffed the take out boxes generously. When I had to pay – the gentlemen said that the card machine wasn’t working and would prefer cash. I had just forgotten to carry cash with me. When I mentioned that I did not have any cash – the gentleman said – “don’t worry – just pay me the next time you are here.” This was my first visit to the Almadina Biryani Hut and so there was no need for the gentleman to say that to me. This generosity and kindness was an offering to me. This is what made my visit worth it for me. A kind gesture to an absolute stranger. The world needs more of such kindness and attitude. I pray that the business continue to prosper – and I hope I can share the kindness shown to many I encounter. After all – “Generosity is the most natural outward expression of an inner attitude of loving-kindness.” The food was very tasty as well (though it could be a bit more spicy). All I can say is that I was truly moved by the gesture and thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless.
