I sat down and waited 30 minutes for someone to clean my table. I watched the "waitress" cash out the to go orders, cash out people put at the register, but never did she take my order or clear my table. I watched 3 people who came after me sit, have their order taken and get served as I sat there with my 5 year old, who also became impatient. I ended up moving seats and was helped by someone else. The new waitress was much better but the food was subpar. The bacon was undercooked, I requested some more and that was just as bad. I didn't eat it. The waffle was gummy. I would never stop here again. Luckily I live in Jacksonville an our waffle houses are not like this. I only stopped there because I was going out of town and went through New bern and our waffle house was busy.
Very poor service. Kimberly took the order. Ordered hash browns and waffle. Waited for 30 mins just to get hashbrowns. And after that she said ohh we forgot to make waffle which took another 15 min.
The reason I give this location three stars is because there is never any room to sit down and eat. You might be thinking it’s because the food is great(which it’s okay it’s Waffle House) but it’s because people sit here and talk about there lives well after they ate, I’m not trying to be rude but people eat your food and talk outside so others can come eat. The location in Havelock is better people are in and out you can actually get in. Just go to IHOP and get waffles there it’s less than a minute down the road.
Love breakfast for supper! Food was great! Waitress was helpful and friendly. She also kept my drink filled.
Awesome got waited on immediately, ordered and the food was so very good. Great place to eat in New Bern, NC
All of the employees went to the back to smoke pot, letting a waffle almost catch fire, did not check on us, I had to serve my own table and 2 other tables in the restaurant. I HAVENT WORKED AT WAFFLE HOUSE IN 3 YEARS. I’ll be waiting for my paycheck.
I've been eating here for most my life I've had some of my best/most fun meal with too many good friends I hope this waffle house never changes
The waffle they gave me had chunks of burnt bits from the waffle maker in the waffle itself. The female cook flipped it upside down in hopes I wouldn't see it. Thankfully I saw her do that because I could have broke a tooth with how hard the pieces were. Was going to let it go but when i told the server I wasn't trying to complain and just letting them know, she really didn't care. I was polite the whole time because i know what it's like to work in the food industry. But I said have a great day and was met back with an "uh huh".... was really hoping they would have done better or been a little nicer.
Great food and service but way too cold on the restaurant for customers.
I cant even give a star .. it was a complete waste of me driving out there. And spending my money. The food was horrible and was no where near edible. Grits was a brick ...bacon was burnt ..toast was burnt at this point ...i will not be eating there again.
