We went here around 1430 for a late lunch during the week. Our server was nice but was very unsure about the menu items - she also didn't know what cabernet was and there was few staff to ask for assistance so our order took a while! We ordered hummus and it was very strange and gritty and our vegetables tasted like they hadn't been washed. Our entrees took a long time to arrive, so much so that the server apologized and said that she's told the kitchen was had been waiting about 45 minutes. Finally my husbands sandwich came, however mine was about ten minutes behind his. When it arrived I let the server know that my side was incorrect. She apologized but then never brought the correct side. I had to go up and ask for the side I ordered. It was frustrating because two other people had come in, ordered and had received their food before we did. My sandwich was great though once I got it! I do not know that we will be back based on the service. We did find out that they own the place next door as well and the service there has always been really bad, unfortunately.
After sitting for sometime and no server contacting my friend and me, I went to the counter to request menus. After making our selections and waiting for server to take our order, I again approached the counter and requested someone to take our order. A pleasant but clueless server arrived. Ordering was an ordeal but finally she managed to complete her notes. Prior to receiving our order, she delivered a bag of chips to each of us. Eventually, our sandwiches arrived and the day spiraled down. My veggie wrap with feta cheese was totally gross. I have not idea what they were serving but it wasn't feta cheese. Large cubes of a compressed white cheese to up most of the space in the wrap. After removing said cheese from the wrap, little was left and I concluded I was not willing to try to make the best of it and returned the remain half of the wrap and pile of white cubes of mystery cheese. I said it was disgusting and I could not eat it and returned to my seat. Lack of customer service: No concerns expressed; server eventually came to the table and said I could select another item or receive a discount; yes a discount not no charge!! I declined anything else. As we continued to chat the server came to the table with a cup of the white cubes to explain to me that the cheese was in fact feta!!! I responded that I cook with feta frequently and compressed white cubes might come in a bag labeled feta, but it was not and I did not need their lesson about cheese. At checkout, yes paying for my uneaten sandwich I received a $2.27 discount (25%). ZERO customer service. Needles to say I will never darken their doorstep again. And will share this saga with as many people as possible.
I'm beyond in love with this place! Thought I previously posted a review but not seeing it so attempting again. Food AMAZINGLY GREAT! service great! Staff super friendly and yup GREAT! I was in search of an Acai bowl similar to that I had in Hawaii & FL. Couldn't believe this place had been there for 2 years so I went and tried it. I ended up trying a few different things and so far, with the exception of 1 time, (which should give 4.5 ☆) everything has been incredible! Although I'm not a vegetarian I do have celiac and finding a place with reliable gf options has been difficult in NC but the Vine OMG GREEAAAATTTTT!!! and the gf pizza holy crap it didn't even make it home. Thank you for being there. I hope to see you expand some menu options & I hope you keep some of your summer options far past summer. See your weds am ??❤️
I was looking for a place with vegan options this place by far exceeded my expectations. You must not be in a rush when visiting this lovely restaurant. Service is a little slow if time is an issue order ahead for carryout. Our server Grace was wonderful. The portion sizes are just right leaving you feeling satisfied. This place is a well kept secret not overly crowded on a Sunday afternoon. I came here with part of my family after church so I was able to sample quite a bit of the menu and I must say EVERYTHING I tried was delicious. The Piña Colada smoothie was quite thick with coconut shavings, caution for those not a huge fine of coconuts. Even carryout meal portions aren't skimpy. Will recommend to anyone looking for vegan or healthy fresh options! Oh and how can I forget the 25% health care worker discount - thank you for thinking of us.
delicious and nutritious!
No complaints ?? my order was correct and timely. The employee was prompt and direct. The chicken/bacon wrap ? & the Balsamic strawberry chicken/bacon pizza (only if you want some diversity) Will be back!! Sorry no pics...sure to upload next time. And have already suggested this place to coworkers.
This place is fantastic. My wife a sweet potato bowl or something, but she absolutely loved it. I got the chicken bacon ranch and it was delicious. I have to say, they're fries are some of the best fries I've ever had. Check this place out if you have a spouse or partner that is a vegetarian, cuz it definitely caters to that diet :-)
Had the chicken bacon ranch melt today and it was so delicious! Love the atmosphere and the menu selection!
Ok so changing to vegan is not easy & there is only so much I could eat as far as choices. So I chose Vine and I purchased 2 collie flower pizzas which was half cooked, my daughter got a smoothie bowl it was nasty, I decided to get the stuff sweet potatoes which I always get & it was the worst I would not even feed this to my dog! When you spending the minimum of $40 on food it should be tasty. I have been supporting this place since they opened. I have called for 2 weeks to get in touch with the manager & no response. So disappointed, I didn’t ask for a refund I just wanted my food replaced. Quinoa is not supposed to be brown or black!
I’ve had the pleasure of dining at this “healthy eats” restaurant on many occasions, and it’s never disappointed me or my family! They have a great selection of healthy breakfast, lunch, or dinner items, and their staff is always attentive, friendly, and professional! We live to eat here and we try to go there as often as we can!
