I hate having to leave a negative review I usually love coming here however tonight was different. I placed a mobile order at 8:48 pm for “ASAP” pickup with a tip mind you. After waiting 15 minutes I called in and they said they would have it right out. Another 10-15 min goes by and I intercom again this time I was met with a quick we’re doing shift change please wait, so after another wait approximately 40-45 min from the start I hit the button twice and no answer. So I called their business phone and the manager came out to my truck and looked at my order went inside and said they brought it out earlier but couldn’t find me apparently I was one stall over how ever the only marking for my stall was what I put on the app apparently their was a number missing on the stall (not my fault)The biggest problem was after acknowledging it wasn’t my fault and my food had been sitting for god knows how long I got no offer for fresh food no offer for discount or refund or anything!!!!
Recommend, always fast and friendly, something not common with most Sonics I've visited in MI, TX, TN. Great location with huge play area outside with plenty seating available and spots to park car. Have had two times where items were off or missed but handled perfectly everytime, again something set apart from other Sonics I've visited (this being I've called corporate before on other locations and nothing being done by anybody).. this location is set apart from them as they seems to take care of its problems instead of handing off to corporate. Lot and area was kept clean and organized, would recommend stopping by.
Not happy with sonic New Bern!!! 4 weeks ago was short 2 large orders of mozzarella sticks. Called and told I could not return that night and was told they would send vouchers and coupons. NEVER got anything!!! Sent a message to corporate and told they would add to my app a large order of mozzarella sticks with any purchase. WHAT??? One order with a purchase what a freaking joke. Just forget it if yall are hurting that bad. Plenty of other fast food restaurants in New Bern that will correct a mistake!!!!#
Sonic drive in, for some reason the Burger seems to be very blan these days, it's been many months since I have been to a sonic. I am not sure what it is. This location is only a few months old, very friendly staff. All updated electronics. Food is looks great and the onion rings nice and hot.
The past couple times I have came to this location either my drink is not filled all the way or is too full and it is overflowing. I've complained several times and all they do is just give me a napkin to wipe it off myself. instead of taking the drinks back and fixing it how its supposed to be fixed or better yet make sure that food and drinks are correct and not messy before they bring them out to people cars.
Love to eat there when I'm on the move! The food comes out fresh and hot! Fast and courteous service ! I would recommend it to everyone!
Great location, good service most of the time. I like it when the hops still skate. I tip them. I don't tip the ones that literally just walk the food to me when I ordered on the app & park nearest I can to the door. They don't serve like they used to. It's all "to go" now. Maybe b\c of Covid, maybe not, but they don't need to look at me funny if I don't tip them for walking 20 ft. Maybe I'll start picking up my app order in the drive through, lady. I don't tip in other drive through windows (except on exceptional conditions, then I have).
This place is great especially if you have kids with you. The playground was clean with plenty of tables and chairs. Plus you can order right from the playground. All of the wait staff were on roller skates and they were fast, efficient, and very friendly. My kids loved seeing them deliver the food to everyone. We only got slushies so I cant comment on food quality but our slushies were great and came pretty fast considering the drive thru line was wrapped around the building and almost all parking spaces were full.
Friendly, fast & order was correct. My Dad had never tried the popcorn chicken. Loved it & said he's ready to go back.
Ordered the Buffalo chicken bites (not EXACTLY SURE OF THE NAME!) with tater tots and a large Dr. Pepper. Was delivered fast by a friendly fella. Professional attitude. Plenty of food. Nice and hot. Would have liked catsup with the tots and I guess I could have pushed the button again... Parking lot was clean and plenty of spaces to park. Received one salt packet and one pepper packet (would have loved way more pepper and another salt). Overall I really enjoyed it and will try something new on my next trip.
