Best place to eat in New Bern
Awesome experience. Food was really great. Honestly the Brocolli and Cheese soup was outstanding fully loaded with cheese. Maybe could have had more brocolli heads but five star on that. Their chips are worth trying very flavorful and fresh. Prices were as expected not too expensive but not cheap either. Customer service was ok seemed to know what they were doing but not as customer friendly as expected. To sum it up Awesome place to stop by and have some quick new age deli experience.

I ordered the beef bacon smokecheesy sandwich with the broccoli cheddar soup. You get a half sandwich and a cup of soup for $9.99. What a deal! The sandwich was probably the best bread that I've ever had. They toast sourdough bread which is very crunchy and the broccoli cheddar soup was delicious. And they have many other selections. My husband ordered the number one original half sandwich with a cup of chili for the $9.99 price. This is going to be one of my favorite places to eat in New Bern. The customer service was outstanding. The sauce on the sandwiches is their homemade sauce and it is so good. It tastes like a mix between horseradish and thousand island dressing.
I've gone there a few times and I've never had a bad time, the food was great with excellent service.
The sandwiches were absolutely delicious and the soups were just divine. This is a great place to eat and you can get the 2 for 4 for lunch for $9.99.
Sandwich was really good and soup was nice and hot. Considering service and quality nowadays they rate an excellent for quality of food and service.
Have been dying to stop here and finally did today, waited a good 10 minutes to get waited on,ordered when the food came it was wrong and when further review of the receipt it was wrong as well. They fixed my sandwich but when confronted about the overpayment I instantly received attitude and she looked at another employee threw her hands up and said give her $2 I have had a long day! Hmm maybe she should find another job and allow someone with customer service to work there instead. Prices are outrages it says sandwiches come with drink and chips yet $3 was added for that as well, food quality was very poor and for all of this in one visit I will NOT be back for a 2nd try..
Online it said they closed at 8:30 but a sign said they closed at 6pm on a piece of paper by the drive thru. We tried to order at 5:45 before both of the “closing times” and they said they were closed already! Have your times accurate or at least close on the designated time. Why are they closing early? Never ever trying to come back again.
Spent 15 minutes waiting on food while watching the two very young employees struggle to put together a sandwich. I was the only customer in the entire store. Asked for an honest update and was told it would be out in “literally 1 minute”. Several minutes later, I was told by an older employee who was spending her time chit chatting on the phone in the back that she still had to get the food ready. Walked out of the store with no food and don’t plan to ever return.
