I have been to Saltwater many times since they opened. They never disappoint, and the food is delicious! Drinks are amazing, and plentiful. The bartenders are great at mixing up something tasty when I cannot decide what I want. This place definitely has a friendly atmosphere! Outdoor dining is relaxing, especially when they have someone performing on the deck! I can’t wait to go back!
Beautiful meal! Lots of gluten free options and very accommodating for dietary requests. We’ve now been here several times and will keep coming back.
The food and atmosphere at Saltwater Grill were terrific! The staff were friendly and our food came out correct and fast. The menu had a little bit of everything with seafood being the star! Get here quick - you won’t be disappointed!
Nice place. Service was excellent. Staff is very friendly. Manager is awesome. Everytime we have been in she visits table. This is our go to place. Would like to see some other options on dinner menu
Delicious seafood dinner. Sinead was a great waitress and made the experience that much better! Props to the chefs and staff. Will definitely be back. Maybe even on the boat since the waterfront service accommodates!
As River Bend residents, we had high hopes. After four visits, we have been left with underwhelming experiences. We have come to love the location in Swansboro, but the NB location does not compare.The food has been ok, but nothing special. Some of the items we enjoyed have vanished from the menu...Short Ribs. Another gripe is the conflicting ambiance. Why have fancy white table linens and then serve beer from a can? Why have peaceful water views and hard rock music playing? Very strange..The service has been pretty good and the servers all nice. The bar area is lacking in space & appeal and no draft beers are available to date. Also of concern are the prices. In order to keep the River Bend crowd, better prices or at least some sandwiches and burgers would be nice on the dinner menu.Went for a late lunch last weekend. We each had a couple of beers that were on special. The devil eggs followed, and they were really good. My burger was decent, but nothing special and my GF had the fish and chips which again were just ok. With tip, I think we spent around $80. I don't mind paying higher prices for outstanding food, service & atmosphere- but this hasn't been the case.We have not given up on Saltwater and hope that these comments are taken to heart. With some fine tuning, this could be an awesome restaurant. I hope to be able to edit my review to five stars in the near future.
This has to be the worst service I have ever had in a restaurant in my 35 years of life. Maybe the bad service was just a one time thing, but they did not even comp any of our food or drinks after service so bad it could have been a sketch in a Sitcom. The food was okay at best.
Visited for the third time last night with family and friends. Gets better and better each time. All 6 meals were impressive and excellent. Staff was very engaging and attentive. Thank you for a nice night!
Had a great first time last night. The crab dip appetizer was fabulous. We had the grilled Mahi. I think a bit more of the salsa on top world have been nice, but flavor was great. Loved the French fries too. Will definitely return!
Nice location, clean, prompt and friendly service. Lunch menu had few healthy items. My quesadilla was not crisp. Friend had the crab cake sandwich, said it was okay but not worth the price.
