I have never been disappointed in this great restaurant. It's great because you get tasty food and the show from the chef! Kudos!

My family and I love coming to this incredible restaurant! The food always tastes great. They prepare it right in front of you. And the cooks are so entertaining! The prices are very reasonable for this Asian style cooking and the “Musashi for two” is a great bargain for two people to share. They’ve recently renovated the restaurant and increased the size to accommodate more customers.

The sushi and hibachi are great here! We usually eat in but if you need to pick up the order is always quick and easy to grab. This is our favorite hibachi in New Bern.

Great place for big groups as cooking entertainment is great. Food is tasty as well.

Great experience, great food and service. I got the hibachi fillet mignon. We were celebrating a birthday and they came out and sang a hearty Japanese birthday song with drums and all. Fun times.

OMG!! This place was AWESOME!! Totally a true Oriental cooking experience!! Food was great!! You get a personal chef... cooks your dish right in front of you.. and best of all.. pretty cheap... most expensive dish was $15... I got away with less then $8... going back again really soon!!!

This place was suggested to me by a local. I just moved here so I was excited to find a new Japanese steakhouse. The chef was really nice. Atmosphere is a little dated but nice just the same. The scallops were a little grainy & the rice & veggies a little salty....too much soy sauce I'm guessing. I was really surprised that the fried rice didn't have egg in it like all other places I've been to. They also didn't really do a "show" which I'm accustomed to. All in all, it was good & I Will try it again!

I don’t write bad reviews; but this one is for the Part-Owner TONY. Been coming to this restaurant every week for the past couple of months. Staff is wonderful. Unfortunately, TONY is extremely rude & disrespectful. When I go in person with my family the servers I usually get is Mikeala, Samantha, and one other waitress (Can’t remember name of atm). I order the same thing all the time. Hibachi steak (no mushrooms), extra steak, and shrimp tempura roll or crab pop (no cream cheese. Add avocado/ cucumber) The last two times I ordered for pick up the sushi roll was wrong.(didn’t have one or both add ons & had cream cheese) Today; aside from just the roll begin messed up the extra steak wasn’t added. I called the restaurant to see if they can resolve the issue. I was put on w/owner Tony. I told him what was going on and he was EXTREMELY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, MOCKING, & DISMISSIVE. Told him the sushi was wrong & I hadn’t received the extra steak I paid for. He said if I wanted to pick up; he would give me the 2 rolls I ordered. I could hear the server say “that was my fault about the cream cheese it was a misunderstanding.” I explained that I could not go pick up because my baby was in bed. I asked if he could put a note on my account for next time OR REFUND ME WHAT I DID NOT RECEIVE. (Extra steak and add ons for sushi.) To which TONY responded: “I checked your order before it left and so did the host; the extra steak was there. All you want is to get free food. You don’t get free food from here.” I said “excuse me. I paid for my food. I’m not asking you to refund the whole thing. If you checked my order how didn’t you notice the sushi was wrong?” Again I tried to explain that I can send pictures of the food because my baby was in bed; and I no longer had the car. He LAUGHED and said “you want a refund. Bring me the steak and we’ll see about a refund.” I told him I go there all the time and order the same things. ALL. THE. TIME. I said “But if you’re being this rude then I WILL ask for my refund and find a way to take your food back!” He then hung up on me. I had to bring my kids to my neighbors house and ask her if she could do me the favor of driving me to MUSASHI IN HAVELOCK. I called my husband on my way there and told him what was happening. He stayed on the phone with me; as I pulled up I saw Tony outside. I told him I was here with the food. He said “I’m talking to my customers go inside!” I told him I wouldn’t want to go inside the restaurant and argue. He told he if I didn’t listen to him and go inside he wasn’t going to talk to someone like me. In front of HIS customers I told him the LEAST he could do was apologize for mocking, laughing and hanging up on me. He then started saying I was “harassing his customers and that if I didn’t stop he was going to put me out.” Everything he said my husband heard. My husband finally showed up and of course, Tony was no longer yelling at me when he saw him. He said “if you wanted a refund that’s all you had to ask for.” I was LIVID. I told him “I said on the phone I could send pictures that I could not show up because of my baby sleeping. But this was the only choice I had since he wanted to tell me I had to show up before hanging up the phone.” He then went inside and asked us both to follow. He said that he couldn’t speak to someone like me. I tried explaining myself in front of his staff to the point that I was outraged at how he was treating the situation. I opened the food infront of his staff. I showed them there were mushrooms in the food; I apologized and explained that my kids ate the rice and salad because I didn’t want anyone touching the steak or sushi. Tony kept denying everything he had done. His staff just stayed quiet. Until he walked past the open food and laughed saying “this is the steak?” So I told him “if you can laugh at me in person, you're really trying to deny laughing at me over the phone?” I separated all the steak infront of his staff in order to show them & said “if he treats his customers like this I can only imagine how he t

I was pleasantly pleased with my white peach sake and sushi. Was delicious! Attentive server and restaurant had a pleasant vibe.
