Food was really good and service was great
This was truly the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Exceptional service, quick food, and a Reuben that absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. As a visitor of New Bern, I’ve found my #1 reason to come back.
This was our first time dining in this wonderful establishment. The service (Amanda) was outstanding, complimented perfectly by the delicious food! This was our first but for sure not our last dining experience here. If you’ve ever wondered like we did if you should come, I will tell you yes! You are truly missing out if you don’t come and enjoy a smile and full belly.
Such a charming little restaurant in the NC History Center with a beautiful view of the Trent River. One can even eat outside on the scenic patio. The staff was quite friendly and attentive (waitress refilled my drink three times). The menu is varied and food was delicious (the panini tots were awesome). I was impressed that the meat on the corned beef was so generous that it was divided and eaten by two people. A great place for a tasty lunch!
A very nice place situated within the Tryon Palace area by the water. We only stopped for a drink, and sat on the patio, but the food that we saw coming out looked amazing. Staff are very nice and helpful. Parking is ample at the the front and side of the building. There is also wheelchair access with automatic doors.
Great little restaurant and bar near the Trent River. Some outdoor seating but indoors is nice and bright. Great sandwiches and drinks here. Welcoming and wide space. Service is perfect and friendly. Highly recommend this spot. Plenty of nearby parking too.
The view was great, very clean. The Sandwich I had was the best I have had in a long time and the pasta salad. Definitely will go back to try other items on the menu. Presentation was great and what I could see of other meals that went by I snuck a peak and they looked just as delicious as mine was. keep up the great work !! Even the owners help out cleaning tables. Impressed ?
Great food, great location, and great service!
This place is fantastic! You can sit inside in the air conditioning, or outside on the deck with water views. They serve lunch only as far as I recall. They also have some seats at the bar/counter inside. Their menu is limited to mostly sandwiches. I love the turkey bacon club panini. The menu doesn't say panini, but you should ask for it. You won't regret it. The staff, Jennifer and Paige make the trip worth while. I have also tried one of their salad's which was huge and served on a silver tray. It was actually better than I expected. They have limited hours and close at 4pm most days and 5 PM on Friday and Saturday. This restaurant is better served for smaller groups of 4 or 5 people. The tables aren't big enough to accommodate more comfortably. This place is a hidden gem!
Great views of the creek area. Good food and people. The Spicy Sausage sandwich special with the panini tots hit the spot.
