Breakfast was really good. I never had eaten at IHOP before, but it was great food. I had an omelet with beef.It was on a weekend, and it was very busy. Weekends are busy.There is a small wait....
After waiting almost a hour for my food after my daughter had already received and finished hers I wasn't too happy. Then was told sorry I had to take care of the table behind you first. That table came in well after me and received their food, and ticket before me. It was just annoying and it's not the first time I've had a bad experience there. Not that I matter to this large company, but I don't think I will be returning anytime soon.
Pretty busy but service was good as was the food. Some conflicting opinions on how to pay your bill here. Was told if you were using a card you could check out up front, but waitress was irritated and said we had to use her only. Left a bad leaving impression.
A place that specializes in pancakes should have exceptional pancakes. IHOP's pancakes are a tasteless, doughy disappointment. The chosen blueberry syrup was blue but just overly sweet in taste with barely a hint of the promised blueberry flavor. The country fried steak was okay but the white gravy was over seasoned with a garlicky edge. My two eggs over were watery a sure sign of less than super fresh eggs. The crispy breakfast potatoes were tasty, crispy and hot. The coffee was good and served hot. The portions given were generous for the money but the overall quality was lacking. Our waitress was personable, helpful and professional with a ready smile and prompt to refill the coffee. The hostess was pleasant and helpful since I am physically compromised. We wont be back.
Great food and great service by Chris. Getting seated was awkward/weird. Something had bothered a server or host b4 we got there and things were very confused. Hope their day got better.
We ordered breakfast at IHOP in New Bern on the way to our new destination. It was the meal 2 x 2 x 2 and we got great service from our server Shay. We always enjoy the quality food at IHOP and this location is top shelf. Our food came out quick and hot.
Ginger is a great manager and they have several wonderful waiters and waitresses

We had to wait when we got there. That wasn't the problem. They seemed busy. The wait after getting seated was long. And the wait after ordering was even longer. Then what we ordered didn't come out right. Our server didn't write it down. So we got a new server, after getting our order corrected. The new server was the lady that seated us. She was GREAT. But after 2 hours in IHOP. I don't think we will be going back.
Food was good and hot. Very quick with getting drinks and food once server arrived. Very friendly staff!
