Always amazing! Love the staff! Foods great! Definitely recommend!
It doesn’t matter what the food is like if the staff is EXTREMELY rude and highly offensive!! My teenage daughter called on the speakerphone in the car and put in a very simple order, the girl repeated it back with no problem. After we picked up the order we saw that it was incorrect so we turned around and went back. My daughter came back to the car very upset because she felt like the girl accused us of trying to steal from them. She told my daughter to give her the food because she was throwing it away because, “ we’re not in the business of giving away free food, I’ll make it right“ She never apologized just made a rude comment. I went back in to pick up the food and told her that her comment was needless and unappreciated that the error was theirs. Again instead of apologizing she argued back to me that that was not what she repeated to her for the order. I told her she was on speakerphone and we all heard it, it was a simple order and she repeated it back correctly. So then she said, “What you want some thing for free?“ I couldn’t believe it! I told her she was missing the point, her comment was rude and uncalled for! On a side note however, in all honesty when other restaurants have made a mistake they have not thrown the food away, they would rather provide good customer service than waste the food! Her response at that point was, “ Well there are a lot of other restaurants in town to choose from.“ Really?! You made a mistake, never apologized and accuse us twice of trying to steal and now just continue to become even more rude? But that’s OK because she’s absolutely right, I certainly can take my business elsewhere and I certainly will! And, not that they care about losing business, but I happen to be in a position for work that I sent a lot of groups, families, meetings, etc. their way and have for years but they will also be finding a new restaurant. It was a very rainy Saturday that I was looking pretty frumpy so I think they assumed things about me that are not true and wouldn’t matter anyway, you should treat all your customers with respect and consideration. Definitely makes you wonder though, since all my life I’ve never had a restaurant do what they did when a mistake was made and sushi is so expensive, I highly doubt they threw it away she took it back so she could resell it, not one doubt in my mind, there is literally NO other reason you would take that back! She didn’t even ask us if we wanted to pay for it, just treated us like crooks! Couldn’t pay me to eat there again after that anyway!
Absolutely love the food there and especially the sushi. Great service there! The waitress are really nice and friendly! Will go there many more times!

If I could give this establishment more than five stars for service I would! Our wonderful server Amanda was beyond amazing! She was so personable and just all around great at what she does.The food was great! We ordered 6 different rolls and all of them were delicious! The “mango love” roll was so fresh and refreshing however was slightly disappointed that it was only 3 pieces.I will definitely be returning to try some of the other specialty rolls as everything we had was delicious and the services was perfect!
Visiting New Bern for the first time and craving sushi, we Googled hoping to find a sushi place that didn't disappoint. Ginza Japan popped up as one of the top rated ones. So we gave it a shot. Amanda quickly guided us through the menu and gave us suggestions on what to get. The first day we visited during lunch time and it wasn't that crowded but dinner time is a totally different story! The place is small but can get really busy.The food tastes fresh. The sushi is spot on. Great flavor and reasonably prices. I personally loved spicy girl roll, lover roll and the angel roll. My partner got spring rolls and thw rock and roll sushi roll, he also got sushi mi and sushi. Their miso soup is fire too. We ended up going 4 times in 1 week!! Just give it a call to check how busy it is, so you don't have to wait.... Highly recommend!

Fantastic food and service!! The kids loved the Japanese sodas (reminded them of being in Japan)! Sushi was spot on, soups were delicious, hibachi was very tasty. It was a great experience and we will def be back. Highly recommend.
I’ve only dined here a handful of times, all of which have been in the last several months. Not only is the food delicious, the service is always amazing and I can’t help but notice how nice the staff is.
We ordered $115.00 in sushi and they charged us for white sauce after we ran the payment. We had a family of four eating and asked for 6 white sauce small containers. They made us pay additional for the sauce and go out to the car to get cash after the minimum card purchase was $5.00. Very disappointed as this WAS our frequently visited sushi place.
