Amber was friendly & attentive. Food was very good. Would definitely visit again.

I wish I could get back the last 1.5 hours of my life and spend them in any other restaurant. We’re locals and decided to try the breakfast buffet. We waited about 25 minutes and were taken upstairs where we were met with a buffet line full of empty containers. The only items available were eggs, sausage, and a few hard biscuits. All other options were empty. We had to go back and forth to the buffet line multiple times to get an item as it was brought out. It took 30 minutes for grits to come out. The eggs are like what you get in a free hotel breakfast—not fresh. Sausage was dried out. Biscuits seemed to be frozen and were flavorless and hard. The omelette station was lacking stock of ingredients. They were chronically out of plates, bowls, and syrup. We had to flag down a waitress to get a refill and our check. No one ever checked on us at all. The kitchen staff coming in and out with food were super unprofessional, complaining about working too hard and having to walk up and down the stairs. While this was quite the memorable experience, we definitely won’t be returning!!!

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice. But the best of all was our waitress Sheens. Excellent service and very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Out first clue was when we walked in on a Sunday evening and the host was missing in action. "Wait to be seated" was never more appropriate. The couple ahead of us walked out because of the delay. While standing there waiting for the absent host, I noticed that the catch of the day was 'salmon'. Really? In what alternative universe do North Carolina fishermen go out and catch salmon? We were rescued by a conscientious waitress who found us a table and seated us once she bused and cleaned the table. She was wonderful and we were encouraged greatly. But then. . . The menu was intriguing. . . with entrees like "shrimp dinner", "scallop dinner", etc. Not much creativity there and although it was billed as a "Seafood and Steakhouse" restaurant, there were only two steaks on the menu both of which were priced extremely high. Do you really want to pay $34.00 for a steak outside Ruth's Chris Steakhouse? I ordered fish and chips and my wife got the salad bar. As for the food, I am reminded on my mother's old joke. Whenever she went to visit her relatives in West Virginia, they would serve her dinner and they would lay all the plates out on the table and say, "It's not very good, but there's lot's of it!" Well that's the story here. My fish and chips came with passable fish but the large mound of French fries were Ore-Ida out of the bag cooked to a pale and flaccid brown. Not really edible. The salad bar was also plentiful and uninteresting. But as much as you could eat. There are far better places to eat. Trust me.

Stopped here for a drink and appetizer, the cold crab nachos are excellent. Will definitely be back. Service is friendly and staff are all very helpful. Location is great and when open there is a rooftop area.

Worst ever!! Nothing like the photo. The food was beyond awful. I had family out of town so I made reservations… thinking this was some what fine dining. What embarrassment. After they took us up three flights of stairs the waitress took our order. She neglected to tell us that the downstairs had a free salad bar and soup. So after walking down three flights of stairs to get a cup of soup and coming back up our food was already at our table. My granddaughter ordered the fettuccine Alfredo which was swimming in oil. It was spaghetti noodles not even fettuccine. Didn’t get the garlic bread which was on the menu and when we did get it it was hard as a rock. I ordered the scallops salad with the blue cheese which was missing the blue cheese and by the time we found the waitress my son had already finished his fat fish and chips which didn’t even offer any condiments at all. The chicken tacos were so bad that my daughter-in-law didn’t eatThem. After saying that our table was full of food the waitress didn’t even ask if everything was OK. Never go there again

My wife & I stuffed ourselves with a variety of fresh seafood & sampled some local beers. The staff was friendly & we had a great time. If you want great seafood come here.

5/5 would definitely recommend! I didn't get the seafood (I got the chicken breast), but the food was delicious and filling and the seafood seemed to be great quality as well! There is a very good soup and salad bar and many menu options for everyone! Service was great as well and our food came very quickly. All of the servers and employees were very friendly. The dessert was great too. I would definitely recommend it if you're visiting downtown New Bern. ?

I recently visited for lunch and ordered a fish sandwich. The amount of fish compared to the bun literally had me thinking, "where's the beef?". In addition, the it appeared to have been cooked in very old oil and did not taste good. I would not recommend eating here.
