I've often heard of how great this place is with many saying that it's better than Popeye's, Church's and KFC combined. I'm here to tell you that as a Texan born in NOLA, that assessment is not true. At best, Bojangles tastes like mild Church's or mild Popeye's. In other words, the seasoning was light to absent. It was more like a pleasant version of Hartz chicken. The fries were okay, and the mac and cheese was decent. I don't think the food was worth waiting behind 10 cars though. The best thing they had going was their biscuits. Better than Popeye's and KFC.
Got the monthly special of a smoked sausage biscuit, tater rounds, and a diet Pepsi with no ice. I had egg and cheese added. Place was rather crowded and I ended up parking around back. The service was rather fast! Food was good and hot! Love the tater rounds with salt, pepper and mustard! Delicious! A gentleman was friendly while he efficiently cleaned the dining room. Please try surprised with this visit! Will not hesitate to return even if the parking lot is full!
The slowest store of ALL in New bern... Open the doors... Do sum work My God... 40 minutes in the Drive thru lane is a bit excessive
The Young Man at the window was barely functional. He mumbled something and handed us our drinks. He shut the window and we sat there for a few minutes until he opened the window and handed us a bag full of food that wasn't ours and mumbled something about $29. We told him we had already paid and he said ok and shut the window. We sat there until he opened the window again and told him this wasn't our order. He said ok, took the food back and shut the window. A minute later he opens the window and hands us our order. We leave and going down the road realize there is NO ice in our drinks. Pathetic.
Went here for dinner. Ordered 3 supreme dinners. They had no dipping sauces available & only small cups for drinks.
Extremely slowww. Staff isn't rude, but not friendly either. They do get my order right ~50% of the time. That doesn't guarantee its hot though.
I told them twice I wanted my food fresh. They never acknowledge this request and when I recieved my order it was wrong. The second time, all they did was microwave my food to get it hot. Hot food doesnt equal freah food.
Bojangles gets lazy at time's. Some times hot fresh food! Sometimes its not! Be consistent atleast most of the time. Thanks
It was excellent only problem I had was dining room closed other than that 5 star's
First my order was incorrect I went back to fix it and the employees where not trying to refund or fix my order when I started to eat my biscuit it was undercooked.
