Enjoyed the coconut shrimp and slaw for lunch. Wife got the angus burger and it was good as well. Our son had the mac and cheese and apple sauce and it was the perfect portion size for a kid. Waitress was very nice and checked on us appropriately. Great selection of beer and a couple ciders on tap. Cool atmosphere and good decorations with the pirate theme. Lot of TVs as well for all your sports and viewing needs. Would definitely come back for lunch or dinner.

I only come for the Big Jim band on Mondays now. The service is always terrible, slow, and cold food. I recommend eating and getting drinks on the Pirate Cove side. Although they're the same business, the staff and service is significantly better.
Best thing on the menu is the Porterhouse Pork Chop....OMG! So good. I had the ribs too....yum. Our kiddo(4yo) likes the burger. Good family joint. Check calendar for live music...usually starts at 7pm. Service staff are friendly and fun.

we accidentally found this place a few weeks ago while in town and it’s amazing, great staff. we had the same waitress both times we went and she’s amazing! everyone’s friendly and the food is great. its not a “crazy” atmosphere which is also great!!
They have great food, the service is slow and the dessert is overpriced. But the entrees are definitely delicious.
Don’t eat here after 8pmLimited menu, constant apologies for their in ability to serve what’s on the menu.Very slow service, out of way to many beers on the menu and ten minutes later than come back to tell you. Not a place for a good late evening meal.It appears it’s a bar not really a restaurant. There are way too many other good restaurants in New Bern to waste your time on this place.
Ben was an awesome server! The music bingo game was so much fun...the food was great! The band was great - Due East- great time for ALL!
