Best Mexican food in the area by far! I ordered the Nachos Del Mar with the grilled shrimp that was on the lunch menu and it was absolutely delicious. It had grilled tomatoes, green peppers and onions with the tortilla chips smothered in a spicy cheese sauce. It took the nachos to another level.Our server was outstanding and we had horchatas and he gave us free refills. My husband ordered the Mini Alambre with the carne asada steak and it was excellent. The prices are great and you get a lot of food for your money. A hidden gem.
We have been going to Arturo's for years and I went for lunch with a friend this past week. The waitress seemed to be so busy that it affected her mood, and not in a good way.When our lunches arrived, we both remarked that the restaurant must have changed hands. The usual quality and care were missing entirely, and my lunch wasn't what I ordered.What bothered me a great deal was how noisy and chaotic it was. The wait and bus staff used a cart to transport food and empty dishes. I think it had square wooden wheels! Every time someone rushed by, we had to pause our conversation.Oh well, maybe I can get one of their peach margaritas to-go.
What a find. The food was AWESOME. Very reasonably priced and comfortable. We live Mexican food and this did not disappoint. We will be back often.
We used to frequent Arturo's, they knew us and the Arturo was always there to cheerfully great you and ask how everything was. . Now they have major competition and one would think that they would up their game but sadly they have not. The last few times we ate there the staff acted as if they simply didn't care. Wait to be seated and wait to get the check then wait to pay. The food is just OK nowadays not as good it as it was but the service is the worst. Some advice, you may find them hiding at the bar near the kitchen texting on their phones if you are looking to get your check and exit quickly. So sad, we really liked this place in the past.

I’ve been coming to Arturo’s since I was a kid and I have yet to have a negative experience. To be honest, cultures outside of American culture tend to be more hardworking, passionate about their work, & have more values/morals. In saying that, Americans need to get it together. Aside from the obvious, I really just enjoy eating there and will continue to come back. The food is always hot and delicious. If there’s ever a mistake on my order, it is taken care of right away without delay or hassle. They have my utmost respect! Thanks again Arturo!
This is my absolute least favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. The food is less than mediocre, portions are questionable, and the service isn't anything to brag about. The last 2 times we gave this place a chance, we received our food with no silverware and were told it was being washed... so we sat waiting with our food on the table and nothing to eat it with... and not just for a minute or two.On our last visit, the guy operating the register was unable to comprehend how to separate our checks, so I ended up paying for things that weren't on my order.If you're in the area and want Mexican food, I suggest driving to Havelock to eat at La Casa de Patron. The food is outstanding, you get appropriate portion sizes, and the service is great. It's worth the drive, trust me. Save yourself the trouble.
Food was good not great. The service was hit or miss however friendly. The star of the show was the margaritas! They were phenomenal and great priced!
We do not eat out often but in the last 2-3 years we have dined/in and picked up. The food and service has been consistently good, which says a lot! I can always count on a good meal. Ingredients and recipes have been consistent.
