First time here! We really enjoyed our lunch. Service was great…prices were wonderful for the amount of food we received. I did the ultimate lunch combo also had a salad with it for only $10!!!!

My husband and I have been to Annabelle's several times. The service has always been pretty good. Our first meal there my husbands meal wasn't cooked properly. Since he didn't touch his food after this, the manager came over and gave us a gift card to come back another time and apologized for our experience. We have been back many times since, and always sit with Curtis. He is an amazing server, attentive and always goes above and beyond to ensure we are taken care of. He always has great recommendations. Our meals are always delicious, the food is flavorful and always cooked the way we like it, and if not Curtis will ensure we get what we need. We will continue to visit Annabelle's it is WORTH IT!
Just passing through town and stopped for lunch. The food was fresh and from scratch. Best meatloaf and shrimp ‘n grits! Friendly staff. Highly recommend this place!
The food was piping hot and delicious. The server, I didn't catch her name, but she was a really nice blonde girl. If you get a cocktail I recommend The Grateful Dead!
We shared the smothered chicken with sweet potato fries and we each had a side salad. Everything was delicious! Our server was very friendly and efficient. We will be back!
Midweek visit about 3pm. No other patrons. Seated promptly with a “your server will be right with you”. We had to ask where our server was after 10 minutes and she finally showed up. Especially disappointing considering the hostess was folding napkins about 15 feet away and never noticed that the server had not appeared. Ordered beverages which took way too long, as we were seated in the bar and I ordered a beer. I’ve become very tolerant considering current events, but the amount of time it took was intolerable considering there were no other patrons in the restaurant and there was ample staff. Food was good, no complaints there.
The. Chicken salad croissant was good. I was disappointed that the server left before I could tell him which side item I preferred. I was upstairs and noticed that half the tables had to get up and go in search of their server because they did not have everything they needed.I am sure that finding good servers can be a challenge right now but there’s nothing like good training before they go on the floor for service
I have ALWAYS enjoyed eating at Annabelle's UNTIL....Tuesday night Feb. 22 2022, which is my Birthday. We went to celebrate my 72 yrs. AND the hostess refused to seat us in a booth! She said she had just seated someone there. Then she said it was company policy when I told her that she had 2 empty, they had been cleared & cleaned because we watched them do it.She offered us the well lite area next to the bar.... not in the back, now upstairs. I ask to speak with manager. She looked over at the bartender, Said he's managing tonight, didn't offer to call him over so I said we can just leave that I never expected to get a hassle from Annabelle's. She said we could wait for 5mins. Or so.!!! My husband said we'll leave. WE LEFT and had a wonderful dinner at a very nice place that didn't have rude employees.This may have ended my 35+ loyal years with Annabelle's.What has happened to plain ole common sense? Respect?
My daughter and I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend Annabelle's as one of the better places to eat in New Bern.
