The food here is really good. The first night we came here I tried to get the fried cheese tacos. I think they brought me the barbacoa tacos. I was half way through the 3rd one before I realized I got the wrong tacos. My wife and sister-in-law got the BBQ jackfruit tots. Those were really good too, but we're pretty sure those had the barbacoa meat on it too.For brunch I got a grapefruit mimosa. Phenomenal!! I'm not a mimosa person, so this was great. I got the goat burrito. It was tasty, but I had ground beef instead of chorizo for some reason. My wife got the tots and a bloody mary and really enjoyed them. The bloody mary was spicy.Overall, a great restaurant with good food. I just couldn't give 5 stars because both times our orders were wrong or off. We'll probably find a reason to come to Raleigh and try again.

Often times when going to an establishment you only get review’s about the things that are not so good. This is my second time in town for a friends trip and on the day of departure we’ve come to “THE GOAT BRIER CREEK” as we say our farewells. This trip we got RAE for our server and what a hospitable and kind person she is. Very attentive, happy to serve and easy to talk to! The food in the pictures are the FRENCH TOAST and the GOAT BURRITO! Both were amazing and fulfilling. When we come back we will come again only to sit in RAE’s section. Thank you for making our return trip enjoyable and happy. See you all soon!

I ordered three different items. All to go! Two entrées and one appetizer. One of the appetizers was the pimento cheese and chicken dip. All they gave me were chips. $13.50 for tortilla chips! Everything else tasted delightful but I will not be back since no one paid attention to this. Seriously! I went at like 2:30 in the afternoon when it’s not busy so it can’t be that hard to pay attention to what’s on the ticket. So please check your items before you actually leave the building.

My family and I have been going to the goat for quite some time. We frequently order takeout because it is conveniently located near our home. We've had issues with orders in the past (items missing, cold, incorrect, etc.) but have tried to be patient considering the prevailing staffing issues for many businesses. Today, on the other hand, was the final nail in the coffin. To begin with, prices have risen (due to inflation and other factors, we get it…), but quality has declined significantly. 6 wings are $12.50 (yes, $2 a wing, but the website shows 8 wings), and we received 5 wings (drums and flats) and 1 wing tip today (pictured). So now we're paying $2 for wing tips?? I also ordered the chicken Mac and fries (substitute fries for tots). They still gave me fries instead of tots (which was $1 for the substitution), but I didn't mind because the fries were actually hot today, whereas normally they're cold and disgusting. The mac and cheese was utterly revolting. It was cold, runny on the bottom, and burnt on top (pictured). A complete letdown. The flat bread pizza we also ordered was cold. The only thing saving this place from a 1 star review is the brunch French toast. By far the thing best on the menu.

The GOAT Durham was such an amazing experience. I just flew in from Florida and the friendly attentive bartender, Caity, guided me to her most favorite choices on the menu. Hands down, I would recommend this place to anyone in the area, especially if you are a sports fan; TVs all around, but with an amazing atmosphere. This place is a 10/10!

We love The Goat! The bartenders are all amazing and our favorite part of every visit! Kendyl, Jay, and Caity are all super attentive, professional and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of cocktails (the black walnut old fashioned… yum!) and harder to find bourbons. The patio is perfect for brunch on a beautiful day and there’s lots of TVs to watch all of the games. The Mac Daddy Flatbread, Brussel Sprouts, or anything with the Hot Chicken or Mac & Cheese are all *chef’s kiss* must try items!

I wish I could give this place more stars but honestly the food was just ok, the drinks and hot chili wings were amazing— those items saved the day. Actually the their twist on the crab cake was interesting and not bad. We spent a lot of money and just felt the food was average, my friends chicken sandwich was undercooked , the pizzas were not hot it was just underwhelming . Beautiful space, great service, nice manager , lots of potential, might be good for breakfast but sadly it was not a 4/5 star all around experience.

Very chic atmosphere. Good menu and drink selections! The boneless wings… I would be happy eating these for the rest of my life. Crispy and flaky hand breading, juicy chicken. Also I’m very big on sauces, their ranch, blue cheese, and hot garlic wing sauce were complete perfection.Unpictured: ginger beet salad and house salad, both were very very good! Can’t wait to go back!

The Goat is a really great addition to our local restaurants. It has the vibe of a modern establishment that seems like it could have been plucked right out if the downtown. And, I particularly love that they have vegetarian options (not for me, but for my wife) so we can have this spot in our 'night-out' rotation of restaurants.Good beer selection - but, just a request for the menu: you really should list the type of beer along with the name of the beer.

A friend of mine suggested this place and my husband and I were so excited to try. I ordered the Buffalo cauliflower and he ordered tacos. Unfortunately, our takeout order was incorrect and the employee who assisted my immigrant husband was very rude to him. My Buffalo cauliflower didn’t come with Buffalo sauce or ranch. It was simply unseasoned and slightly fried. My husband’s tacos were not as expected either. We love trying new places but were beyond disappointed.Edit: The manager did reach out and the issue was corrected. The food was good. We are considering giving it another try.
