Worst experience and food ever, I orders the BBQ sampler, chicken under cooked the ribs were jerky on a bone, my coworkers chicken strips looked like they were cooked in old oil. And we're over cooked. No one was at the front entrance until 15 people were waiting around and then we were greeted with whose first...... Never again. 80 dollars spent on trash! Stay away!!!!!!!!!
Arrived early before 6pm and restaurant only 20% full, but the wait to get seated was still 15-20 minutes. And usually no one out front for long period of time Restaurant or decor not only dated and old, the sofa seats were very torn Our server was very good The food was less good - medium fillet mignon overcooked, and the sides were smaller than american portions
The location was near our hotel, and the service and food were very good. Texas Steakhouse closed all locations in my state years ago. I thought they all went out of business but it was great to see this location. It brought back old memories. We'll definitely go back when we fly from RDU next.
Ate here and the food was amazing. I had the cheesy chicken and the bbq was a pleasant surprise, i will definitely eat it again. Our server Brooke was absolutely wonderful as well. We came during a convention so it was very busy and we were a large loud group of 6, but she was so kind and everyone was served efficiently and timely, we all got our orders correct! Brooke definitely deserves a raise or some praise.
We live in Texas and have some amazing places to eat, so it’s a little strange when your out of state and and you see something with “Texas” in the name. I usually think OK whatever. We gave this place a shot and were not disappointed at all. Believe it or not we personally cannot find many places in Texas that have beef tips needless to say good ones. These here were AMAZING! We bother ordered our own and both like ours cooked different ways, they both came out great. Make sure you get the cheesecake as well, very good!
Easter Sunday we came and ate a great Easter dinner. Texas had a ham dinner with four different sides to choose from. If you didn’t have a family dinner next year count on Texas they always have a hot Easter dinner. The manager Teresa went all around the restaurant greeting each table very personable. It was worth every minute.
Steak was cooked perfectly. Loaded potato soup was great! Good service. Came back 2 days later just before 4 pm and was told I could get seated in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later I left because no one ever came back
For a steakhouse, the filet mignon was terrible. I guess that is what you get for the cheap prices, anyway. The chicken tenders and wings were good. Blossom onion was good and fries were also good. Really disappointed in the steak though and the sauted mushrooms which smelled and tasted funny. won't recommend. Staff is nice.
Honest review.... we are in town just for the weekend (RV show and Monster Jam). My husband picked this restaurant. I understand the doors being taped up from painting. Our waitress was great! The manager was as well. They found colored pencils for my little boy since they was out of crayons. Here's the bad. We ordered the sampler appetizer the chicken on it came out of the microwave. You can tell. Chewy! I ordered a beer. It was warm. My meal was the Texas Duo (steak and shrimp). My shrimp made me gag when she sat it down. The fish smell was horrible. And it looked under cooked. The waitress asked if I wanted something different. I said chicken tenders. They was so greesy and tasted spicy. Like they once had Texas Pete on them. My steak was not even warm. My husband ordered a steak too. He said his had no flavor. That was a waste of $75.
I go about once every two or three years once I think maybe it has changed, but it hasn't. It's just average all the way around. You can get better steak from the grocery store and grill it at home. I've been to other locations of this chain that had better food. I'll probably try again in a few years.
