My first impression of Randy's was that the staff was as friendly as a brick wall! I went in the first time for lunch, I ordered some slices, a side of meatballs, waited, got my food, paid for it, and as I'm walking out the door I realized that at NO point did anyone say ANYTHING to me! Not even a "hi" or "thank you"... not even a smile!!!! It was horrible! I mean this literally, not a single word was spoken back to me the entire time!The pizza was nice huge slices but underwhelmingly below average. Meatballs, definitely frozen and not very good.I did go in 2 additional times to give this place a fair shot. I got good service only 1 out of the 3 times but minimal interaction every time. The pizza kind of grew on me. It's not bad pizza, it's just not highly ranked in my opinion
HORRIBLE customer service. If I could rate a zero, I would. After waiting over an hour for my delivery, I called to see why it still hadn't arrived. The lady working the phones said my pizza was sitting they and would be delivered once the driver returned. She offered to give me a refund and get my pizza right to me. FORTY minutes later, I called back wondering where my pizza was. Same lady told me that the driver hadn't come back yet. I asked to talk to the manager. He got on the line and was SO rude. Told me he cancelled my order and I'd have to buy another one. After already offering me a free pizza earlier, he said he wouldn't give me a free one now. There's plenty of other places that will get my business in the future.
Pizza is ALWAYS cold and soggy. Service is horrible. Location on S. Miami Blvd is MUCH better.
I hadn't been to Randy's in years because we didn't live close anymore and found some other good places closer to home. But we were in the area and stopped in the other night. While waiting for our pizzas, I wondered if Randys was really as good as I remembered or if it was just nastalgic. OMG...it is sooo good. It is hands down the best pizza in the triangle!!! We have 2 REALLY good pizza places within 5 minutes of our house...Ones that I would also rate 5 stars. But Randy's is worth the 40 minute drive and we will have to make the trek more often. So so good. Eating in was fine; nothing special, really. But who cares when the pizza is just that good!!!
I’ve tried ordering twice from there via web and I’d order early in the day for an early evening delivery. With in 10 min past requested time, I call and they say they are backed up and has yet to start my order. I understand once but this is the second time, so unhappy with Randy’s!
This review is based off of my order on 11/30. I'll keep it short and to the point. Ordered a pizza at or around 6:30pm. Did not get delivered till after 9pm. I did make a few calls and they were kind on the phone but did not take any measures to ensure the location of my pizza. Once received, the pizza was at an eatable temperature and was good to eat. Not great, but probably better then most in the area. I will try them again as this was probably driver/employee error that does happen from time to time.
The pizza was very good…the cheese steak was amazing…the Alfredo…was terrible!!! It was dry with no flavor…it should be removed from the menu!
Got a slice of grilled chicken pizza, tasted awesome and fresh!
Randy's has become our go-to pizza place. The pizza is very similar to what we enjoyed back in NJ, and the people at Randy's are really customer service oriented. I've had a few problems with the app where it doesn't clearly let them know that I ordered a sandwich with my pizza and so it wasn't ready when I arrived. But each time they were very gracious about it and gave me multiple options of how to handle the situation and always offered me something extra even if I didn't want it.On the sandwich side, I'm still adjusting to the fact that they cut up the eggplant in the eggplant parm as I've never had it that way. I have to say that it made for a more consistent taste, although they definitely could have added more sauce to the sandwich.
Best pizza & hoagies in the Triangle, been a repeat customer for over a year. Great food and customer service - beyond exceptional compared to other chains in the area. Glad to support this local business that greatly appreciates their customers, thank you!!
