We love neomonde for authentic Lebanese food. I always get the falafel pita & my husband always gets the beef and lamb shawarma (really yummy if you are a meat lover)! Veggie lasagna is another favorite as is their baba ganoush, tzatziki, and beet/orange salad. The only thing that lacks from this location is service. When ordering take out, make sure you check your order before leaving & make sure you get your pita bread! Also, they never answer the phone.
Poor quality Mediterranean food for this area. There are better options. The kebabs reminded me of microwaved frozen kebabs I've gotten from the grocery store but at a large upcharge.I unfortunately cannot recommend this place.
The lamb and beef pita is to die for! It was super soft, melt-in-your mouth pita bread. And the lamb and beef filling was so flavorful. I also tried the falafel and it was the best I've ever had! Can't wait to come here again! (The grape leaves were not very good, which was disappointing, but everything else tasted so good that it didn't matter!)
After a very long time we had very nice Mediterranean food. All the staff was very helpful and courteous. The ingredients were fresh. Baklava was melt in mouth...
Went yesterday after a while. Did not enjoy the meal as much as i have in the past. Portion sizes are small for the price. Sassool in Cary seems to be a much better option.
Good for Kebabs...the pita wraps are average compared to a lot of places I've tried it at. Beef and Lamb shawarma does however stand out.
Their cilantro jalapeno hummus and tabouli were a huge success. I literally crave that hummus, so dang good! Baklava was good, not great, but still delicious.
While staying at the Hampton Inn Raleigh-Durham Airport hotel we were looking for a restaurant that can do online delivery of gluten-free foods. While searching the web, we found the Neomonde Mediterranean restaurant that uses Doordash to deliver Lebanese, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes that are gluten-free. There were three of us. We ordered one meal comprising of steak and chicken kabobs and second meal with chicken and lamb kafta kabobs. Each meal was delivered with a choice of two side dishes. We chose the butternut squash and chickpea salad, Mediterranean rice and falafel. A gluten-free member of our party ordered fatoush. Each dish was delivered with a stack of pitas you can use to stuff your food into. The kabobs were very good. We really liked the butternut squash and chickpea salad; and Mediterranean rice. I was not a fan of falafel. They were too dry and crumbly. The gluten-free member of our party really enjoyed fatoush. Doordash offers the choice of delivering food to the front desk of the hotel so they will call you for pickup or they will call you directly so you can pickup your order at their car. We chose to have them call us directly.
We were so excited to try Mediterranean food while in town. The ladies were very helpful but the experience turned when we had to deal with the male teenager cashier. He had an attitude, was not friendly and not helpful. My husband purchased a Perrier but this guy just scowled when asked if there was a bottle opener. I'm waiting for my beverage cup and yet again he scowled when I asked for one. The rice was lukewarm because it was served on the plate prior to the meat being cooked and served. We asked about it and he scowled again. By then, we didn't care that we were not given pits bread. Next time, we will visit the Raleigh in hopes that adults are in charge. BTW, the food was good, just do not assign someone who hates dealing with people as a cashier.
I love Neomonde and I've been going there for years. They have the BEST tabouli and fattoush, and they make this cilantro jalapeño hummus that is to DIE for. If you like Meditteranean cuisine and lighter meals, you should definitely check them out.
