Our third time eating here; Today, 16 April 2022 at this establishment. The head boss is an awesome guy, always gives me my military discount. The food has a great presentation. The atmosphere is always welcoming and cozy. The wait staff are very friendly. A keen sense of attention to detail. This is a must go to Mexican restaurant. Carne Asada with rice and beans was delicious and tender. Definitely going back?
The Chicken Nachos were great here! We enjoyed coming here for lunch after church.
Got takeout.First and foremost: The portion sizes are very generous, especially for the money.I was a bit disappointed that the "burrito" I got in my combo was literally all ground beef and nothing else...not very enjoyable, but that might be more on me for assuming it would have more to it. Beef had okay flavor, I'd maybe put it at "above taco bell" at least, but definitely overly salty.The vegetarian fajita also was pretty meh. Again, great quantity, but it was a relatively flavorless slosh of vegetables, and only came with two (very basic) tortillas for some reason, despite everything else being pretty generous.To be honest, I'd rather order Chipotle for the money. Much higher quality, which is sad. This is definitely the "Americanized Mexican" style, and can't say I'm a huge fan.It was edible at the very least, but that's the best I can say.

Love this little hidden gem which is close to alot but usually not too busy.. The food is delicious and very well priced. I also appreciate they offer lunch prices Monday through Sunday. Great deal and worth checking out. Come in for margarita and enjoy this La Cocina.
I've been to both the East Garner and Cary locations four times now, so this was the first time I tried another location in Morrisville. I definitely thought they do serve a little bigger portion for lunch I thought for my shrimp fajitas than Cary did. But, SO good and food is consistent and the same deliciousness at both locations though. I have made it my go to Mexican food place now at least two times in the week when I need that big So California hug, as I heard the owners were from CA and the food is consistent with what I find in CA. There's now no reason to go shopping around for better mexican food. I found it here finally! It's that good and my leftovers are always gone! This is what I had leftover after eating two fajitas already so it was enough at least for three more to take home. I also LOVE their hard shell ground beef tacos, way better and quicker at lunch than taco bell ever would be!
So far I have not been disappointed by anything I’ve eaten here and there salads are great!
Loved the folk art just to start...beautiful bold colors. The staff was very pleasant and quick. Food arrived very fast and was delicious. Definitely will return each time we are in town! Very affordable and quaint
Simply just okay.We ordered from Uber Eats and got the fish tacos and Chicken Quesadilla. On both, the flour tortillas were soggy, mayhaps from the steam of the packaging. I think that needs to be worked out.On the fish tacos, I was expecting to be on corn tortilla, no fault to them, just what I'm used to. I must say, the fish taco slaw was seriously lacking. The flavor of the fish itself was tasty.On the bright side though, they did give us a very generous amount of Guacamole.
