Authentic Chinese chefs cook carefully, with innovative and creative cooking techniques

The food was good. For the portions, you most likely won't be needing a to go bag. I had dumplings, bass and dessert putting me at a quick $100+.The atmosphere was a calm vibe, the music selection was soothing and peaceful.

G58 - A very stylish and elegant Chinese restaurant in triangle area, RDU North Carolina. No matter from the interior decoration, the serving and the dishes, and the characteristics of the dishes, they are all very elegant. Solemn and connotative, without losing fashion and taste. My husband & myself enjoy it so much. Our friends specially American friends all love this upscale G58!

Food was great!?????????? Bartender Mariam was on point with the Old Fashions.

We visited for my birthday and it was amazing. The service was outstanding. Our server Joel was wonderful and very helpful. He explained everything in great detail and was very attentive and sensitive regarding our food allergies. The food was delicious, we had the Peking duck (paired beautifully with the light pancakes, black bean sauce and orange marmalade), Spare Ribs (delicious breadcrumbs mixture), Oysters (crispy and light), Shrimp with mango glaze (so crispy with that delicious glaze, Citrus beef (melt in your mouth), Szechuan pan-seared beef (so tender and delicious), and broccolini. My absolute favorites were the Peking duck and the sweet and tangy shrimp. We will definitely be back.

My feelings about this restaurant are so mixed. The food is some of the absolute best I’ve had in the triangle. DELICIOUS IN EVERY WAY. Everything we ordered tasted amazing. However the poor customer service made our dining experience stressful, tense, and awkward from beginning until the very end. Where do I even begin?!1. Having to wait for a table even though we had a reservation2. Getting seated so close to another couple we didn’t feel like we could have any private conversation3. Only part (it was comprised of several dishes) of our $54 duck coming out first, before our cocktails and starters.4. Having to ask about the status of our food and drinks several times5. Never being offered a water refill and running out of water6. Being offered rice, but never getting it and needing to ask for it7. Flagging down wait staff to be completely ignored8. Having random dishes given to us with no explanation offered on how to eat them even though they said they would explain when we ordered… we had to flag them down (whenever they actually paid attention) and ask.9. Being told we were offered a complimentary dessert to apologize for the service then me needing to sit sadly sulking watching my husband eat the cheesecake on his own that they gave us while having nothing for dessert because I can’t have dairy (they didn’t let us pick the dessert even though they initially made it sound like we could). I told 2 servers that I couldn’t have cheesecake and they never once offered to get me a different dessert. One server asked why I wasn’t eating it/if I wanted my own plate to split it and I explained I couldn’t have it but he did nothing.10. Haphazard service/no dedicated server. It gets confusing who is waiting on you because the answer is that it is anyone and everyone. They do not appear understaffed at all, from what I saw. There were a lot of people serving in the dining room but poor communication between them.11. Asking for dipping sauce to be put in our to-go container, being told we could have it, then coming home to find it was not there. It is honestly painful for me to write this review. The amazing food with a beautiful atmosphere are 5 star. But for the extremely pricey menu, I expect 5 star service. This restaurant has 5 star potential across the board but needs to level up the service. We could have just gone on an off night but with a $175 bill for 2 people, I don’t have the budget to try to give this place a second chance any time soon. For reference we ordered the half duck, beef dumplings starter, short rib starter, signature pork belly starter, 4 soup buns. I recommend all of it. We got the sunset and maple cocktails as well which were also very good. Some people commented that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to their bill. In our case, with our party of 2, fortunately no tip was added to our bill. We did tip, but adjusted for the poor service.I ended the night with a full, happy belly, but a melancholy, broken heart.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing!! From the staff, decor, food presentation, quality, and taste I give my whole experience a 10 out of 10!! Beautiful restaurant and extremely clean!! Even the bathrooms at the restaurant are gorgeous!! We will definitely be returning soon!!!

Beautifully decorated space, upscale atmosphere with amazing Chinese food. Went for an anniversary and they decorated the table with rose petals and gave us a little cupcake to go at the end of the meal. Definitely worth a try for a nice occasion. Dinner plates range from $30-60 each, small plates $15-$25.

I have ordered delivery from G.58 multiple times since the pandemic, and it is always so absolutely worth it. This is your opportunity to venture out beyond regular takeout Chinese food and experience the versatility of what Chinese cuisine can be. Pictured below are the tea-smoked salmon, pork spare ribs, and egg sheet rolls. The presentation and taste of the food, even when we get it delivered, are top-notch, and I can not remember a time or a specific dish I was disappointed with while ordering from them. Price is high, but it is deserving of the food they serve! Thanks to the chef and rest of the team for the amazing work you do, and I highly recommend this place!

Very authentic place with good presentation and unique food. Big choice of tea. Superb customer service. Make sure you reserve your Peking Duck when you do a table reservation.
