Went in to pick up some lunch on a whim and was unfortunately and honestly let down. While my son normally eats Sesame Chicken which may/may not be spicy, this was really hot. On my end, I ordered a lunch special with "pork fried rice" but it was mostly just rice with less than ten pieces of pork which were so small, you could confuse them with burnt rice grains. I lived in Florida where even the most basic fried rice came with pork, onion, scallions, carrot, peas, egg, and bean sprouts...the same type that comes with all specials. A Chinese restaurant serving that bland, yellow rice in Miami would be closed withing 3 weeks.
OMG!!! My wife had pepper steak and white rice. I had the bourbon chicken and pork fried rice. We LOVED it! The meats were very tender and the lunch portions are huge. I finally found a great local place for bourbon chicken. Way to go Eastern China
This place was great for your Chinese food you really want to check it out
Service was lovely. The eggroll didnt taste fresh, kind of like one youd get from the frozen section if a grocery store. The General Tso's chicken had plenty of sauce on the outside but the chicken underneath was very dry, which (since i was sitting there while it was prepared) should just been fried. The fried rice had good flavor.
Ordered the sesame chicken with white rice and an egg roll. Tasty orange sauce with sesame seeds and rice was soft and fluffy. Came with two steamed broccoli florets. Cooked quick and served hot. Other lunch specials looked good too.
Excellent food! Glad we found this place.
Just tried these guys out and the food was really good. It reminded me of the Chinese food I use to get back in NY. Will definitely be back!
I order a set of wings which use to be 4 dollars which now is 7.50 and I asked to get it changed to the lunch does Ik which is still cheaper then the wings by themself. The lady said it will cost a extra 1.60 to change it when it already paid more for just the wings then the lunch special combined
Note, they shave their chicken which means you get a big ole plate of breading. The sauce on the sesame was not bad. Also got the szechuan chicken which had an overpowering burnt flavor. Too tired to return it and in the trash it goes.
Absolutely love this place. The food is delicious and hot! The best food I've had for quick takeout. The dumplings are great here as well.I use to live in this area and now live in Raleigh. I still drive back here when I have my cravings.
