The food was nasty my husband’s hot hamburger looked frozen and Just fried the sweet tea wasn’t sweet chicken fried chicken was hard and gravy had been sitting
Good was terrible and serving was unbelievable I won’t be going back I will go to another Cracker Barrel
This place is hit or miss but yesterday it was absolutely awful. We always to curbside/to go orders so we are used to have missing items like condiments or a biscuit etc. however this food wasn’t even edible! The chicken tenders were so over cooked and cold that I’m pretty sure they had sat out for hours. The hash brown casserole seriously didn’t even looked cooked. Eggs were not warm. Just all over a very disappointing meal, especially on Mothers Day. We ended up throwing it all in the trash and calling to get a refund.
Food isn’t as hot as it could be. Small portions. Quick service. Plenty of parking. Kind staff. Overall my party got the catfish, breakfast, meatloaf, and even some French toast. Biscuits are a go to! Cornbread no so much. Make sure you ask for jam. The preserves are great. Tried all the sides. Mac & Cheese & hash brown casserole were my fav. Coleslaw was crisp. (Don’t go before closing, food isn’t as fresh) Shout out to Amanda! Waited on our table perfectly! Overall a great experience. Only downfall was the temperature of the food and a tiny sliver of meatloaf. Highly recommend for breakfast. Get the fried apples and peach topping for your French toast!
We walked in and it was hotter than Satan's taint in the dining area! It was 55* outside and 120* inside. We were seated within 20 minutes and a waitress who wasn't ours came by to ask if we had been helped yet. We told her it was our first time and ask for recommendations. She spent a few minutes with us going over the menu and taking our drink order then she said our waitress should be over soon to get our dinner order and bring us biscuits. Our waitress came over and never introduced herself to us. She literally never gave us her name. We told her it was our first time there and she just said "okay". She took our dinner order and left. Our drinks sat empty until we flagged her down for refills and asked her if we needed to order the biscuits and cornbread the other waitress told us we'd be getting with our drinks. She brought biscuits one minute before our dinner came out. Our dinner. We got the tiniest piece of roast beef we've ever seen. It was like it was plated for a small child, yet it was served to a grown man. It was cooked perfectly and falling apart, but cold just like the gravy. The chicken fried chicken was also cooked to perfection, but the gravy on top was cold. We are so disappointed. We had heard mixed reviews about Cracker Barrel and this location put us on the negative review side. This was our first and last trip to Cracker Barrel!
I was so excited to go here. Every experience I’ve had at every Cracker Barrel has been great until today. We were seated fairly quickly but the rest was downhill from there. We were waited for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. I had to wave a waitress down to order drinks 20 minutes after sitting down. She said our server left. We got our food about 20 minutes later and it was cold. I didn’t say anything about the food because I was not going to wait another 20 minutes for them to remake it. Definitely not going to this location again.
In the day and age of Covid. This location hasn’t missed a beat. The service was amazing. The staff was over the top. My server was incredibly friendly. This has been some of the best service I have ever had. Oh yeah the food was fantabulous!!!!
I was hungry and wanted to sit down for breakfast. My wife and I waited a while for the food and they forgot our biscuits. The waitress said we would get them as soon as they left the oven. Dear God, have you ever had one of their biscuits fresh out of the oven?! You now cannot serve me any old biscuit.
There’s no way you all would serve this to someone if they were sitting directly in store.. but I guess since it’s from DoorDash you all don’t care.. absolutely terrible.
My husband and went to Cracker Barrel for an early dinner and to order a meal to go to take to my elderly father. We were seated promptly. We ordered our food and it was served within ten minutes. Our server suggested that we wait until we were almost done to place our to go order. I placed the order and we waited about ten or fifteen minutes. Our waitress came back and told us that it was going to take at least another twenty minutes. Thinking that maybe what I ordered would take longer than other menu items, I asked the waitress if I should select something else. She said it didn't matter - anything I ordered was going to take at least twenty more minutes. Oddly, other diners came in after I placed my to go order. They had their food quickly. I was still waiting for my order. Very disappointed. I didn't plan on spending 1 1/2 hours at Cracker Barrel.
