The food was really good but they were very short staffed. Only one person was working the entire time: sitting people at the front, taking orders, bringing food, etc. I felt bad for her. It took an hour for us to get our food.

We went there foe my birthday. Acacia Tree restaurant offers authentic Chinese cuisine. They presents the most famous dishes from different regions of China: Donghae Bei, Beijing, Shanghai/Jiang Zhe, City Chuan, Chong Qiang, etc. We enjoyed our meal so much we would definitely come back.Oh, the price is very real and the quality of food is more than plenty. So, go there very hungry. ?

The food was fresh and hot. One order is enough for 2 people, but I recommend getting your own for leftovers.

We went for lunch today, the place was dead and didn’t have any music playing. We both ordered the wonton soup, which was pretty good. We also ordered the General Tso chicken and Sesame chicken. The portions were a good size. Unfortunately they tasted like they’d been fried in sugar batter, had flavorless sugar syrup poured over them and then been sprinkled with white granulated sugar. They were so sweet that neither of us could even eat more than 1/4 of the entree.I usually give restaurants a try or two, but honestly with the # of good restaurants nearby I won’t be back to this one. ?

The food here is 100% authentic, and draws quite a lot of the local Chinese community. It tastes great, and honestly has quite good value for the portion size.Owner is also very nice, gifted a free appetizer!

I don’t often leave reviews for places but I had to for this location. I called to place an order for pickup and the young lady said they were not taking those orders because they were so busy but I could walk in. I drove up and inquired about placing a to-go order and the lady helping me out told me it would be an hour long wait. I wasn’t too hungry, wasn’t in a rush, and also really wanted to try their food, I decided to wait. It took them about 40 mins. The lady that brought me my food apologized for the wait but also thanked me for my patience. I am quite pleased with the food. So much so that I’d go back and probably wait again. I will say the general tso chicken I ordered wasn’t as spicy or tangy as I was used to. It was definitely more on the sweet side. So sweet that the duck sauce I added to the steamed rice doesn’t taste as sweet. However, the chicken is flavorful, full, cooked to perfection. They looked busy. They were hustling and I’m happy to leave them a great review. I’ll definitely be back. Maybe not again on a busy Saturday night lol but they did a great job.

I'll start with some minor negatives of my experience: there is a mustiness to the place. If you're prone to allergies/have a sensitive nose, it might be a bit uncomfortable. And our service was slow but there was a healthy crowd when we went and it seemed like they were shortstaffed. Nevertheless, the food is delicious and authentic. The dishes are served family-style, a single entree could almost serve 2 people. I tried the Black fungus salad with lemon, which was crisp, tangy and had a hint of sichuan pepper flavor, and the kung pao chicken was bold and spicy.

Not too bad, but food are kind of mixing, some are great, some are okay (both on portion and flavor). They do need to hire more server. And the management need improvement too. Overall still a good Chinese restaurant.

When the service is lacking and the food is fresh and top notch, you have found excellent Chinese food. You don't need a Chinese friend when you come here, but if you can bring one, your experience will be enhanced. I think, I am guessing, the local Chinese chefs eat here :)
