The menu is very limited. I wish they had the baked oysters like the restaurant in Raleigh. The customer service sucks, they’re not rude but certainly not friendly or welcoming and kind of seems rushed. The food is basic and overpriced. The only nice part of the visit was the gentleman with the locs. He was the hostess and he was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. He set the bar high only for the waitress to kill the enthusiasm.
A less than average airport restaurant. The crab cake is deep fried and dry. The chicken sandwich is another dry burger. Service is ok and the QR code doesn’t accept my credit card
Service is great but food is overpriced and awful. My bisque was mediocre and fried oysters not fully cooked. Oozing egg batter is not very appetizing, to say the least. That's a safety issue, too. Ignore their fancy top ten sign and find something else to eattheir
We had 2 breakfast dishes. Eggs had no flavor. Sausages looked like they came straight out of the freezer. Grits were watery. Coffee tasted sour and I had to ask for a second cup- still tasted sour. Portions were really small for 16$ per plate. I get there is an up charge at the airport but left there still pretty hungry. Avoid, people, avoid.
The chicken BLT I ordered was the most disappointing sandwich I have had in months. The bread was burned, the chicken was dry, there was not even one full slice of bacon, the single slice of tomato was sour and the lettuce was hot. Who toasts the lettuce? Or did they just microwave the thing? Service was quick but utterly inattentive -- I couldn't catch anyone's eye to get my water glass refilled. If you don't interact with them through the app by ordering something, you have no hope of getting any service from them. It's not a restaurant, so much as a vending machine which delivers your purchases to your table. Today was my last meal here.
This is a great location to take a break while at the airport if you're lucky enough to get a seat out of the way. We sat in a booth which is the luckiest place in the restaurant. Overall the seating is jammed tight and it's hard to navigate with any luggage. My friend enjoyed her oysters. Menu otherwise felt limited. Fair amount of fried foods. You order from and app and the options felt VERY limited compared to the menus I've seen online. Was a bummer and I ended up ordering nothing but a ginger ale which tasted watery due to being over iced.
All around terrible experience. Not that there are a plethora of dining options in RDU, but if you happen to have a layover here, go literally ANYWHERE else for lunch or dinner.Yes, of course, you have to consider it’s airport dining (which can only be so great) — however, my friend and I sat down for dinner this evening and weren’t even given menus, much less waters within 15 minutes. When service finally did notice us, we placed our orders..knowing we might not be able to grab him again and waited for 40 minutes just to ask our waiter about our food.. who then realized he had FORGOTTEN to put our order in. We were finally served very underwhelming burgers and fries about an hour later and barely made it to our boarding zone on time.If you have unlimited patience, and 2+ hours to waste in RDU, maybe you can tolerate the service at this place, but if you’re like the rest of us, don’t bother. ??
Crazy busy. Needs more staff. The staff hussled but there isn't enough of them. Cleanliness affected by this.QR code on table for ordering and paying. Potentially a great idea but I don't like paying before a sit-down meal, requiring wait service, that hasn't occurred yet.Did the Oyster plate. Comes with fries. This was actually very good. Fried nicely. Juicy. The fries were also good. Too pricey however at $25 for this plate. It's nuts. There isn't enough staff. The food was good but pricey. RDU actually lacks options in my opinion and perhaps this explains the craziness.
I always eat breakfast here when traveling, usually okay. Today the waitress was rude and argumentative from the start. Didn’t understand the simplest order, eggs over medium and a side of bacon. Continues to be rude and argumentative so I grabbed my stuff and walked out. Need to find a new place to eat in RDU if they are going to be this way. Disgraceful.
