Drove out of our way an hour to go back to Mountain Burrito. I’ve been before during the week and I double checked their website to make sure they are open. They were not. They are only open F-S now. We had to settle for something much more mediocre.
I live in Raleigh but make a point to go to mountain burrito every time I'm passing by on I-40. Sometimes I even get a second meal to have later. It's probably my favorite spot in NC. The ingredients are fresh, it's in a convenient location, the employees are always very pleasant, and it's quick and efficient - even when the line is out the door!
One word, Awesome. You won’t find a better burrito anywhere you
The chips are the bomb. The Nachos are awesome. The salsas are fresh and unique. I am devastated that they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Completely overrated. The steak is sitting in a pool of juice. I guess it’s a way to preserve the meat. It does not have that grilled taste. The people were nice though!
I have heard so many good things about this place and specifically came to Morganton at 7:30 pm on a Friday evening because your website said you were open til 9 tonight. The door was locked. As I was sitting in the parking lot another customer came in and attempted to do the same thing. Very disappointed...not a good impression for a first time customer.
The guys here are on top of things. Fast, efficient, serving great food with many choices. Next time I'll ask for a burrito in the bowl ! Also - very clean..... 99%
5 Stars: Fresh food! I highly recommend mountain burrito to anyone who is visiting our area. I first ate at MB 10 years ago. The food at MB is always fast, fresh, accommodating, & delicious. The staff at Mountain Burrito is so friendly & kind every single time you walk in their doors. This is a loved local business by many! My personal favorite weekend meal!
We make the trip up from Lenoir at least once a month to go to Mountain Burrito. Ingredients are always fresh, there’s an amazing selection of salsas and hot sauces, and you can’t beat the quantity and quality for the price. Quick service, friendly staff and consistently delicious.
There is a reason a line forms out the door at Mountain Burrito, and beyond the casual, cool vibes, it is simply the food. It's absolutely delicious. Worth the trip!
