If we could give more than 5 stars we would! There was an accident on 40 stopping traffic as we traveled so we pulled off & found downtown Morganton & the the Limbertwig Cafe. The sandwiches and soup we ordered were delicious. The owners were so kind & brought over dessert for us to try as well, even though it was closing time for them. Kind people and a wonderful meal. A great experience!
The food here is amazing . That's all that needs to be said. Staff is great .

One of the best little restaurants in Morganton NC.Sandwiches are fresh made with a large selection to choose from. The tomato basel soup is a must have.Terrance, who owns Limbertwig and his co-workers are always so nice and welcoming. This is one of those Most Definitely Places to eat when in the area. Stay Safe Everyone
Still really good food. Their sanitation grade was a 93, that was the only improvement that they need.

Finally ate here today, and it was Fantastic! The Malibu wrap was delicious, and the staff was so genuinely kind and friendly! They even sent out a sample of the soup to us ( I think because it was busy and we had to wait) it was delicious too. I was very impressed! We will definitely be back!
HUGE sandwich menu! Sandwich was delicious, as was the tomato basil soup.
