I wanted quiche, but they were out. I ordered a liver mush and egg sandwich with a fruit cup and it was very good. (I had to ask for a fork after they brought out my food.) Most other customers there that morning seemed to be regulars who were eating and visiting with each other. I will return for another breakfast when I'm back in the area during the morning.
Friendly and courteous service provided to me and my family. Great coffee! Great food! Phyllis, the cook, baristas, and front service employees provided amazing service and were attentive. I love that their business model supports local businesses. Overall: 5 out of 5 stars.
I wanted to try a different thing than just ordering a plain coffee. I chose this place since I would be enjoying a walk in town as my first. I had no clue what to order but described what I would like and the clerk immediately had a drink for me. And it was so good, perfectly what I would want. Fast and expert service, friendly atmosphere, and nice, settling surroundings inside make this a great choice for me.
Grind Cafe is Locally Owned and Operated the staff are friendly and prompt the coffee is good but strong. Go on saturday the biscuits and gravy are my favorite get em fully loaded for best effect.
Great options for food and is pretty good. Cute place and nice people.
Good foodbut the chai tastes like a cup of milk
Not friendly. Customer service treats you as though you should know what to order even if you never been there before. Not impressed. Came in empty handed. Left empty handed.
Grind Cafe is a wonderful local coffee shop. Both the coffee and food are delicious and the staff is always kind and helpful. Definitely one of my top choices for local coffee/food in Morganton!
Great staff, and the best breakfast in morganton, if you have never eaten here, you are truly missing out!
I enjoy the environment, lovely exposed brick with historical wainscoting that has a dark wooden finish. I imagine the ceiling also dates to the original early 1900s construction. The sandwich size was a bit underproportioned for the price, but it was pretty tasty, nonetheless.
