Best Mexican food I've ever had. Ordered the Mole Chicken to say I've tried Mole and it was excellent. The portions are large to massive for the price, service was friendly and fast, and everything tasted great. Not personally a fan of refried beans or guacamole, but I cleaned the dishes, eating every last bit both were served in to my son who didn't eat his. My wife and I will definitely be coming back here as soon as we can. Loved it!

We were served promptly, and the food was okay. The Fajitas were definitely NOT of Hispanic origin. The address of this restaurant is actually 2300 S. Sterling St. next to the Shell Gas Station. The food was okay, but nothing I would travel a long ways to go here.

The food was not good. Between my husband and myself we ate less then half a plate. The waitress kept walking by but did not stopto refill our drinks until we were ready to leave. They were not busy at all so I'm not sure why we recieved such bad service. We will not be back.

Service was excellent. Food was soo good. I hope to visit them again soon.

Worst Mexican Food restaurant in Morganton. So many issues from start to finish. Food came to the table cold, incomplete and not what was ordered. When telling the server he said “No that’s what you ordered.” And we literally ordered while pointing at the dish on the menu to the server when ordering. The fountain soda tastes like mold. Asked the server for a bottled drink, he returns 15 mins later with another fountain drink. He forgot the tortillas for the fajitas that were cold from the start. They are supposed to come to the table sizzling on the hot plate. Server brings another employee over to TRY and tells us we were wrong again and interrupted us when speaking to them about the issues with the food. Service like this is disgusting and disrespectful and should not be at all tolerated anywhere. For some reason in this town we keep restaurants open and in business that don’t provide the service and food quality that they should when we are paying with our hard earned money. This town needs to start raising their standards so that we are given better food and service when we go out to eat here.

Best Mexican around. The carnitas are great. We come from Marion, which has 5 or 6 Mexican restaurants to eat here. The taco salad is amazing. The shell is so crunchy and great with the cheese dip. Anyone saying that they were screaming at them doesn't sound like the manager I encounter when there. I was just surfing around not really even wanting to go out but writing this, I gotta have some carnitas in my life!

Had a very good dinner. Staff was friendly and treated us like regulars. La Chalupa was spicy but very good. My wife enjoyed LA Bandara with the different sauces. I had the Camarones a la Veracruz which was delicious but the shrimp could have been cooked 30 seconds less. Plates are quite full. Would try it again.

We had an awesome family dinner at El Paso here in Morganton, NC they had one of the best Steak ACP dinner's I have ever had cooked to perfection..I strongly recommend it to everyone..The Service was amazing very warm & welcoming atmosphere.. We've had birthday dinner's there as well..

Today me and the kids ate here the food was delicious the reason for the 4 stars is it took 15min for someone to take our drink order the gentleman who finally came was respectful and apologized for the other server skipping over us after that he took care of us and we had a great meal.

I’ve eaten here since it went in the building, when Harbor Inn moved forever ago.It used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant for years! They had great food and a friendly waitstaff. It’s pitiful now! The food is at a new low(cutting queso dip with milk, cutting bean dip with water, chorizo either burnt or barely heated, inconsistent amount of chicken on the Pollo Guerrero dish) and the service sucks! In the good ole’ days, I can remember killing roaches crawling on the table or up the wall (several times)as I ate my meal in the not-so distant past but I came back time and time again because the food and service!!! The last 3 times have had me ‘redneck-fighting mad’ when I left. To keep it brief, (last visit) the waitress misunderstood my order. That’s ok, she can’t understand a southern accent and I don’t speak Spanish, which is apples and oranges, linguistically speaking. I didn’t appreciate that she padded our bill because of it! She added two soft drinks which is around 5 dollars extra to the ticket.I mentioned it to her and she said ‘no, it’s right!’ and walked away abruptly. She’s not going to win any Miss Congeniality contest with that snarky attitude! I used to love this El Paso but sometimes the fond memories of yesteryear are just that… memories. If I want to enjoy the food at an El Paso location , I drive 40 mins to the location in Hickory on 127.
