My favorite Chinese restaurant just closed,this was our 1st time ordering from here. Ordered 3 cheese wontons and a beef with broccoli combo meal. The wontons were so hard and chewy we couldn't eat them, none of the 3 orders. They looked almost burnt and tasted awful. The beef with broccoli was good, egg roll okay, fried rice was not great but okay. Paid $26 and had to throw away all the wontons, didn't eat rice, only ate beef with broccoli. Drove 35 mins just to get food here. Times like they are, I'm upset I wasted so much money on food we couldn't eat. If not so far a drive I would had drove back, showed the wontons, and either requested a refund or fresh ones. I've only ever left 1 other neg review in my life, this will be my 2nd. I do not recommend.
This is by far the best Chinese food in morganton... Hands down, the best.I wish they had their own delivery drivers rather than going through an expensive delivery service, but that's not even really a complaint.If I'm in morganton and want Chinese, this is the spot.
Sorry chen's but I can't do better than one star. I know alot of people like chen's but 2 tries and no good experience. Wontons were tough and chewy. Fried rice could have been a frozen meal from the grocery store general tso was huge pieces of meat mostly breading. And you would think everyone except them has the vid by the way they act when you pay for your food.Try them for yourself a lot of folks like them I'm just not one of them.
I get take-out from time to time and it’s pretty consistent. I get the general tso combination usually.I like the steamed dumplings. Girlfriend and kids switch around with their orders and it’s usually good. It’s better some days than others but never terrible. I recommend for take-out!
Good food but definitely not a fan of the lo mein. They use spaghetti noodles.
I expected the least from any Chinese food place in Morganton. I grew up in the NYC area and was in Charlotte for a long time. This is honestly one of the best americanized Chinese food places I've ever had. Their wontons are fabulous.

The food was very good. There aren't many tables so most of the business is take out. They have the normal menu of most Chinese restaurants.
This is the fourth time we have gotten take and have not been disappointed. Food is excellent, well seasoned and not the burned grease taste some chinese restaurants have. The chicken was great and meaty. The fried rice well prepared . A++++ We will be back
We had shrimp egg foo young, sweet and sour chicken, and an egg roll for lunch today. We both had a fantastic meal! We will definitely be back. Thank you for cooking and serving so well.
