Carolina Smoke is seriously the best! It’s always so consistent and the service is always excellent! All of the waiters and waitresses are amazing, but especially Summer! She is truly the best! Would highly recommend!
We were there yesterday May 14. They weren't particularly crowded so I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen. We got our seat immediately, our drinks and order were also taken quickly. Then we waited and waited....our waiter was very nice but I could tell he was uncomfortable after telling us twice that our food would be out shortly to have to come out a third time to tell us it would be ANOTHER 20 minute wait. We considered leaving at that time but decided to stick it out.20 minutes later we did receive our sandwiches and another 10 min we received our sides. I was very full from eating 1/2 my sandwhich so wasn't keen on receiving the side that much later. But all in all we still enjoyed our meal and each was hot when brought out. Just would have been a more pleasant meal if we had gotten all our food at the same time. Would have given 5 stars ? then!
First time eating here yesterday with a coworker while we were in Morganton for a work conference. We were not disappointed at all. The food was great, the service was great, the prices were reasonable (especially given the portion sizes). They had 5-6 different sauce options there right on the table, and I tried almost all of them in small portions. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and I would go there again without question if I were in Morganton again.
We went a few days ago at the old steakhouse location very bad experience! Waited over 50 minutes for our food and food still came out cold! They had no lettuce cut for a salad, ran out of Mac and cheese. Spoke with Owner He said he would email gift certificates, I’m still waiting and it’s been 2 days now. Not to mention we paid over $100.00 not worth it!!!
Only my second time eating here and in my opinion the best place to eat in Morganton!!!! Servers have been awesome and the food amazing!!! We will spend lots of time dining here!!!!
Visited there last Sunday. Was looking forward to it, love bbq We walked in At 4 or so Asked for a table for 3 (I am a big guy, not comfy in a booth) Not many folks in There , plenty of tables, as it was early. We were told we would have to sit at the bar, they saved the tables for larger parties, I am not a drinker so do not care to sit at the bar. I am happy they have plenty of business seeing they did not need ours, will not be back!
I loved the food and the prices were reasonable. It was all outside dining under a pagoda. Great place for lunch or an evening sitting around their fire pit.
We arrived a little late on Sunday evening. Several of the menu items were out. We decided to give them a try anyway. We both ordered burgers. They were huge and great quality. The best part of the visit was the service. Marc took care of us. He was great! Super nice and very genuine. We will return!
GROSS.We got there early before the lunch crowd came in so there was only about 6-7 other tables in the restaurant. We had a party of 5. 2 people got their food an hour after we placed our order. One person got their food about 15 mins after that, then me and my sister got our food 15 more mins (1.5hours in total). Just for our food to taste bland and EXTREMELY undercooked. I truly don’t want to hear “understaffed” as there were plenty of employees standing around near the bathrooms just talking. Speaking of the bathrooms… it was disgusting!!! I would rather pull over and use a bush compared to using that bathroom. Cob webs hanging everywhere… only nice thing about this place was our waitress. She was sweet as can be.
smashed it..... wait no it smashed me. all I got was a wild a** burger. my wife got a plate. never stood a chance. didn't find out till to late that they had white zombie on tap!!!! the best
