I went to this restaurant and was shocked by the treatment that my family and I received by the manager. The owner, Julie was there and she appeared to be understanding and insisted that we stay and that she would ensure that we got a table and service. After our dinner, we were accosted by a customer who accused us of mistreating the manager. It felt like we were in a bad part of town and it was actually a little scary,. I would never set foot in this place again. It was simply a horrible and upsetting experience.
The only positive experience was that the bartender made a great tequila old fashioned and other drinks. They gave our food to another table and didn’t know it until they brought us our wrong order. When they tried correcting our order it still came out wrong and this was after the rest of our party had already finished their meals. Our server tried telling us they would give us a discount and they only comped our pizza. Horrible customer service as everything should have been handled differently. I will avoid this place unless it’s the last option.
Tequila old fashions are killer but $13 nachos are a ridiculously small portion. Atmosphere is solid and service is pretty good.
The most unprofessional owner of any establishment I've had ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Not even 5 minutes into the first (AND LAST) time I ever been to this venue, the owner came up and told us we were not supposed to move the tables. Okay, not a problem.. we can move them back. After multiple times of her saying I'm serious you can't move the tables without ever saying where she would like them. I asked multiple times where she would like them. She looked at me and said IM THE OWNER. So, I replied with, okay where would you like the tables. I literally just got here and they were already like this.. so she looked at another person in our party and said I don't like that girl and walked away. Ummm, excuse me? Absolutely, the rudest interaction I've ever had with an "owner". Will NEVER be back. STAY AWAY. I will NEVER give this woman ANY kind of business again nor will I ever bring up the name of this establishment again. Even people at the table next to us were asking if that was the owner and commenting on how extremely rude she was. Thank you for ruining what was supposed to be a fun, stress free night out with the girls.
That was an amazing Stromboli from Apps & Taps it was crispy tasty meaty and delicious! Very good value for the price too! The Ahi Tuna tacos were also amazing! The staff here is friendly, fast and helpful. I’ve visited a half dozen times in the past few months. The staff is always noticeably clean and they offer social distancing options with heaters on the outside deck. Highly recommend!
Nothing special, but what they do have is quite tasty. Have only been here for lunch after time on Lake Norman.
No safety or sanitary precautions . Dirty and unappetizing dishes. Would not recommend this restaurant. Did not adhere to state regulations for occupancy.
We recently visited this restaurant while visiting friends who live in this area and it didn't disappoint! The atmosphere was welcoming, the wait staff were excellent, the view of the water is beautiful, and the food was delicious! I had the Mahi Mahi taco in a lettuce wrap and it was probably the best fish taco I've had; the fish was cooked perfectly, the slaw was a perfect compliment, and whatever sauce they put on the taco put it over the top. Their Bloody Mary's are pretty good too!
Excellent covers, very fun.
The place has potential. It’s right on the water but the food was below average. The only reason I gave it a 2 was the apps. We ordered shark bites and calamari which were very good. I had a steak and cheese sub. First of all the bread was a little stale and very dry, definitely should have been thrown out a day or two ago. It also was bland with not much flavor. Fries were a plus but for $14 dollars I expected better. My wife had a Greek salad with chicken. Salad dressing didn’t taste very Greek to me and the chicken tasted like it was smoked and then chopped into a mushy mess. Not busy for a Saturday night and it took a long time for the food to come out. I would go back only to have a beer and order an app, hence the name apps and taps.
