Best sushi in NC!! Been going there since I was 8 years old.
I’m not from around here and decided to give this place a try! My 5 year old son really loves sushi so I thought I’d surprise him with a night out. We decided to get the Sushi at the lake dinner 1 with the Ocean's Flavor Roll and fried cheese cake. Mom made an oops and forgot to order his nigiri without wasabi. The chef overheard and before I could order more nigiri he replaced it for him! He was very kind and it was a big deal to me since I was going to order another round being that it was my mistake. My kiddo and I were so happy with our meals. The waitress was also super kind and welcoming, it was just an overall great experience. At the end when I asked for my check the waitress said that we had already been taken care of, and I was floored. I had to fight back some tears until i got to the car. Hopefully the person who took care of us gets a chance to read this, my kiddo and I have had quite the year and this just made my whole evening. Thank you so much. Also a huge thank you to the staff for taking such good care of us, I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m in town.
Our first time here and our waitress and the food were very good. Hours for dine-in were accommodating as we were visiting friends who live in the area that also needed hours to accommodate their schedule.
Simply the best sushi anywhere. I travel the world for work and have never found more delicious sushi! It is so good, usually about twice a year, we drive to Mooresville from Atlanta -- 7.0 hours 'round trip -- just for their food. Love it. You cannot miss by eating here! Great service and food.
Best sushi around!!! Little pricey but be assured, you definitely get what you pay for. Worth the extra few dollars. FRESH FRESH FRESH . Fun atmosphere
We’ve been eating here ever since they opened. We used to eat at the one in Cornelius before they shut down and we’ve always had amazing food and great service . ?❤️
Overall not bad but very small portions for the price. $4 miso was very bland. Ordered a beer that was half foam (they did re-pour) Dirty napkin at the table (did replace) server was great but owner (lady in pink shirt?) Not very engaging and seemed irritated. Not what I would expect from a "high end" sushi place ?
Wonderful. We branched out of the norm while traveling to town. The staff was friendly and timely. Presentation was on point.
Great quality sushi and nice efficient service. The place is small, it felt a tad cramped, but seems like a good go-to hangout for locals
We come here couple times a month. The last few times we have had trouble with service, taking over 30 minutes to get food or quality of the food lacking. I was hoping it was just a one off problem but seems to keep happening. Which is disappointing because we really liked this place.
