New owners!! They have redecorated the restaurant. The food is great and not as greasy as before with the previous owners.
Got hibachi chicken, chicken was dry, no flavor to the rice and worst no flavor to the shrimp sauce. Sorely disappointed as this used to be my go to place.
Hibachi chicken with fried rice is so so good and the lady here is very friendly, love talking to her!
The woman who taking phone calls according to the ticket her name is Nancy is rude! I usually call and say no veggies just chicken, sweet carrots, and rice. No where in that sentence did i mention mushrooms. My sister brings in my food and I have mushrooms on my plate. She goes let me read you the ticket and I have it right i my hand. She tried to argue that me down. Everything in me legit wanted to go all the way off but I said well I’m not eating this if i have to I’ll order again and I shouldn’t have to pay for something that I didn’t ask for.
First time stopped by while visiting a friend close by. Told this is a very decent place to get lunch. There were a few customers as it's passed lunch time. The place is clean and neat. As I only eat certain food, the lady Nancy said she could cater me & I had a seared salmon & grilled steak combo. They taste very good. The price is very reasonable. I love the food and just learned the owner took over last end of year.Worth to try.BTW, the restroom was very clean! . I only like restaurants with clean restrooms.PS: later I was told the restaurant has a new owner Nancy who renovated the place all over herself lately. I saw! I will definitely visit this place again.
This place used to be my favorite Japanese restaurant in town, but sadly the last few times we’ve gone there the quality has dropped “and the price has gone up” Most of the pieces of steak were all fat and though. When this happened the first time I figured it was just bad luck but after a few more times of the same issue, I’m not going to try anymore.
This used to be one of my favorite take out places ever, but it looks like the ownership changed. Last couple of times the quality has been down, and most recently the food had no taste. The fried rice here used to be so good, the meat trimmed really well, and the sauce was just flavorful enough to enhance but not overwhelm. Most recently, the carrots were bland, broccoli was cut in much larger pieces (way more stalk when before it was just florets), meat had lots of untrimmed fat and was cut into fewer pieces, and the fried rice was mostly flavorless. They added big screen TVs for the menu and redid the interior, but the food got worse… not a good trade. Sadly I would no longer recommend this place.
The food was not good. The chicken was stringy and hairy (not trimmed properly). I got the taste/smell of mold a couple times. I threw the food away.
This place changed ownership. Everything is different. The food wasn’t good quality and we will not be back unfortunately. This used to be our favorite local place for Japanese.
I had habatichi shrimp it was shrimp, plain rice broccoli and a side of carrots. With a big cup of orange sauce to pour over for taste I guess. Without the sauce it was very plain. I did not enjoy it and ended up trashing…what a waste of my $12.00 Very expensive.
