The waitress name Jasmine was very dishonest. I ordered fish and chips. She told me I can only get fish but not chips.Actually fish and chips are not fish and chips. LOL Because kitchen person said it. I had to told her this is not my first time to come to this restaurant. Usually if I order fish and chips, should come together. So she went to kitchen brought the chips for me.When I checked out,She told me manager said charge chips for extra dish. Never hear " fish and chips" actually are not "fish and chips". If I want chips, I will have to pay extra chips. She said this is her manager said it.Also the fly around the table during our meal.We are definitely wont go back that place! If you go that place, please be very carerful with these games, read carefully on your bill! Some one is trying to steal from you!!Now I am worry about my card! Very stressful! I feel very sorry for her. She should work hard to earn more tips instead of trying to play games with customers ! Shame on her!!!!
We ordered Doordarsh lastnight. I got a BYOS. I started to cut up the chicken, mix it all up and stuff and I noticed something odd. There was a dirty, greasy, wodded up receipt from someone else's order, two hours prior. At first I thought they used one of those papers to separate ingredients because it was partially buried under the cheese. I called the restaurant 3 times and no one ever answered. Doordarsh ended up taking care of the meal cost but they told me not to eat it.
Terrible experience, ordered Spinach artichoke dip and it was frozen inside, waitress got another one and the same thing, she ended up warming it herself by the time it came back, our main meals were at the table. No utensils given, chicken Alfredo pasta lacked sauce & seasoning it was bland, how do you mess up pasta?!!! We ordered a second basket of shrimp and after many attempts to get our waitress attention (we were ignored quite a but when we did hand gestures) finally she came only to say you want it to go? We just cancelled it. Never going back there. We have been to the one in Charlotte and service was way better.
The service was terrible, but can we take a moment to talk about the macaroni and cheese? It was literally the powdered Kraft. I could see the granules of powdered cheese on the sides of the bowl. This was a “premium side” meaning you have to pay extra to choose this as a side. Y’all couldn’t have at least splurged on the velveeta with the creamy cheese if you were gonna charge me extra? I typically don’t leave reviews, but I had to this time cause I could not believe my eyes when that food came out.
Friendly staff, alot of parking close to the building. Full bar and restaurant menu. Try dueling piano night- definitely a fun time!
Food was excellent! I had the pulled pork tacos and my wife had the steak tacos. The seasoning on both were great! It was a pleasant surprise and we enjoyed every bite.
I went to hear Threshold Band play. They were awesome! The mushroom swiss burger I had for dinner was so good. It is on grilled buttery sour dough bread. Employees were all friendly.
Our family visited Hickory Tavern for Dinner on a Friday night. Its been a while since we have visited. It is a nice lively atmosphere. The waiter was super friendly. We put in an order for a couple of drinks. The drinks were not made right and took at least 30 minutes to get. So when the waiter came by next we decided to put in an order for 2 more drinks since it took so long last time. He brought us two drinks but they weren't ours. So he took them back to the bar and came back much later with the correct drink. We ordered our food and it took one hour to get the food. I ordered buffalo Chicken tacos with a side of broccoli. They brought me a bowl of uncooked broccoli. My husband ordered broccoli too and his was cooked. We return the raw broccoli and they brought us another bowl of raw broccoli. Ridiculous. It's obvious the kitchen must be short staffed. They also didn't have any hand soap in the women's bathroom. They had filled a soap pump with water instead of replacing it with proper soap. The whole meal was disappointing and over priced. However, the waiter was super nice and friendly and tried his best. We tipped him as normal but will not return to Hickory Tavern.
Super delicious place to stop for lunch. I highly enjoyed the non alcoholic ginger mule, and our server was perfect and got our orders in quickly. Food was great quickly and our nachos were beyond delicious. Bit pricy, but worth it.
Went for the BOGO taco Tuesday deal. Tacos were awesome. Our waitress Kaitlin was great! Very attentive and helpful.
