We took our grandson here for the first time. They have a good selection for kids. I tried that Portabella mushroom sandwich with the kale salad as always The salad had no dressing. I am confused and disappointed.
First time visit. Ordered shrimp and grits. Delicious. The cheeseburger is big enough for my nine-year-old. My sister complained that the chicken kale salad didn’t have dressing on it. ?
Nice sit in with much healthier options then most local restaurants. I had a salmon salad it was okay I felt the pairing vegetables were odd. I also had the chili which wasn't the hot and not that favorable. It was clean clean but felt rush by staff although management did constantly check In and I'm definitely aware of staff shortages. So don't want anything too heavy maybe your experience will be better than mine.

The food here is pretty good, and it's a nice break from the chains. Kale salad is usually good. Wished they would consider American cheese for their burgers. The fried are delicious when not overcooked. The fries are thin, so there's a balancing act in cooking them perfectly, but when they are cooked well, they are the best! Servings are generous.
Fresh Chef has been my favorite restaurant for years, I even ate there after getting married! The best thing is when I got covid and lost my sense of taste, the kale salad was still there for me, as delicious as ever. Thanks Fresh Chef for drying my tears.
This specific location NEVER disappoints! The staff is always super friendly and quick to answer any questions. If you desire great quality food, a chill atmosphere and friendly staff/managers this is the spot for sure! Stop wasting your time and money elsewhere and simply stop by. My personal favorite restaurant in Mooresville for sure!

I get the kale salad which usually comes with salmon, but I substitute grilled chicken and keep the setup the same. It is really delish. The creamy garlic dressing is probably my favorite dressing ever invented. I also like how they've continued curb side pickup even after restrictions have been lifted. 10/10
