Went here for an anniversary dinner with my husband. The food was okay, nothing worth bragging about, except the Creme Brule. That was absolute divine!The ambience is everything you could look for in a romantic dinner. Our waiter was an authentic older Italian gentleman who I could appreciate from head to toe. And the hostess was lovely as well as courteous in taking a few photos for us.The cheesecake was bland. Very void of flavor.I did enjoy the fresh grated Cheese and Blck pepper however.
Outstanding Italian food! The service was excellent, the meals were delicious and we are looking forward to coming back when we visit Mooresville again.There were several specials on the menu, and I couldn't decide between the Branzino or the Lobster Ravioli, so I asked our waitress Lisa to pick for me... If you want to find out what I had, visit and ask Lisa to do the same for you. You won't be disappointed!
Always a pleasure to dine at Caruso’s. The food is the most authentic Italian that we have found in the area. Staff is always kind and knowledgeable. Food is always well timed for the next course.
I love Italian food. Have eaten at many places in the US and Italy. Caruso’s is the best of the best. Every appetizer, salad, and entree were made with perfection. Had the Calamari. Awesome! Scallopini was excellent. My wife had salmon and it was perfect. One friend had veal chop and the other had seafood pasta. Everything was outstanding. You cannot go wrong at this restaurant. Look forward to going again!!
My husband & I have always felt this is the best restaurant in the area. Last night we went there for his birthday & it was exceptional. He ordered the chilean sea bass & I ordered one of the nights specials which was a Banzino fish from the Mediterranean. It was prepared with crab & had a wonderful flaky texture & slight sweet taste. Great lemon taste to accent the flavor & a dusting of panko Both dishes were baked to perfection. Our waiter Omar was personable & attentive to all our needs. It made it a memorable night! They had a shortened menu and we were told that we needed to hurry and order as we had to be out in two hours. It was a special occasion for us and if we had been told when we made the reservation, we wouldn't have come. But we simply would have chosen a different evening. Sad. We love this place.
Absolutely the best Italian I have ever had. It was great start to finish. The grilled octopus appetizer was phenomenal. I also had the fish and lump crab meat special which was delicious as well. Old fashioneds were mixed properly. Our server was knowledgeable and welcoming. 5 ?
Absolutely amazing! A true gem in Mooresville. From beginning to end it was perfect. Thank you Omar for making my husband’s birthday extra special! We can’t wait to go back!
