Food was cold, staff was unpleasant, wrong drink order, desert not brought to the table. Overall TERRIBLE experience! Avoid at all costs!(At one point I went up to the counter to ask about the forgotten desert and the employee behind the counter didn't even turn around to talk to me and carried on talking with her back towards me.)Again AVOID!
I'm surprised by reviews here. Have been going to McAlsiters at Poplin Place for years and for me the service has always been prompt and courteous, and the food always fresh, healthy and delicious ?

Went to this McAlisters in Monroe and it will be the last time I go. I got a side of Mac n cheese and it was literally 3 spoonfuls. I asked for the manager and she was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was trying to be as polite as I could because the amount of Mac n cheese they give you is NOT worth the money you pay, but she had an attitude and refused to help me in any way except for charging me again for another side of Mac n cheese. My plate was also dirty and they ask you if you'd like a pickle, then charge you for it, then don't bring out your pickle with your food in hopes you forget about it because there's an apparent pickle shortage. I love McAlisters but this particular one will never get my business again!
When I am on this side of town in Monroe I always go to McAlister's versus any type of fast food.Employees are usually very friendly and quick to take your order which is almost always 100% correct hot and fresh absolutely love this place.My only con is that they will not sell you extra pickles ?
Ordered delivery, spent close to $40 for the order just to be wrong. I called the store to see if they could do a partial refund or even a credit for future meal and the “manager” was extremely rude. We go here way too often to be spoken to this way and have spent way too much money to be treated with such poor customer service.
Food was decent, staff was polite. It is a good place to grab some food. They have an app you can use and menus for you to grab and look at upon walking in. Order at the counter and the food is brought over to the table. Could definitely use some cleaning up. The condiment area was a little bit of a mess. Younger looking group of people working and didn't see anyone spending time cleaning the tables after people left.
Order to go curbside pick up I called let them know I was there girl brought my food she said make sure you check it because they are always missing something. Ok I checked my food realized the dressing for me and my fiancés salad isn't in there also my spud max only has cheese and bacon on it and no sour cream for the shareable nachos so I got out of my car went inside and they charged me for the sauces they forgot get home and there is hair in my sons food and the cookies we got were the size of a quarter . Y'all will never get my service again I spent $40 on food and this is how y'all do good deal I'll never be returning! Sad thing is we love McAlister’s and we come here at least 6 or more times a month. I’m pregnant too and lately all I crave is McAlister’s .
Mcalisters used to be my favorite go to for a good salad. My last 2 visits have been horrible. They switched to paper containers and the size of the salad has decreased by 50%. A whole 3 croutons on my salad. More chicken then lettuce. Definitely not worth $10 for a salad.
Delighted to be able to order and pay from our table. Had to go in for drink refills tho. Got our food quickly and accurately.
