My son's high school graduation party was wonderful. Julie, Sue and the rest of the team took great care of our group. The food was hot, tasty and ready at the beginning of our event. They made sure we had refills of sauces and dips. We had plenty of room. It was a very nice setup for a party. Then we enjoyed bowling. Everyone had a great time and my son will always have the memory of our special night.
We took my girlfriends son, his brother and a friend here this past Saturday for his birthday. I’ve never been to Fox’s before, I’m from Greensboro. I have to say this is the coolest place I’ve been to in a very, very long time. Really I can’t remember the last time I’ve been this impressed by a business. The entire staff is friendly, it feels very homey and Luke the staff truly enjoys their jobs. The husband and wife that own it are amazing, extremely down to earth, inviting and appreciative. I rarely take the time to do a google review, but I am so happy from the experience that I felt almost obligated to. Take the time to check this place out, it truly is a hidden gem in North Carolina and I would make the drive from Greensboro just to go back.
We had a fantastic time here. The owners and staff were so nice and friendly. They all were very helpful. Everyone made us feel as we were the most important people there. We will be back.
It's a bowling alley with fried Power. It's not healthy or Diet pro but if you want to bowl a set and enjoy a burger few places do it better.Even the salads have fresh lettuce and are big portions.Bring the family and have a blast just remember the lanes must be paid for in cash.
The bowling was fun & the staff was very nice. However, the food service was super slow & items got missed being put in the order. The fries were bland, fried pickles looked soggy & the seasoning put on the pork rinds was very salty.
Had a wonderful time celebrating our son's birthday who turned 14. We had great food but didn't know it was advised to make bowling reservations first! The owner had a cancellation & slipped us into the time slot. We had fun bowling & it seems our son was better than me on his first time. After bowling we enjoyed opening gifts there too. Everyone was friendly & we had a great time making family memories! Would definitely recommend this place!!! (Make reservations!)
Crystal is spectacular. She remembers my name, my son and my order every week. She’s personable, sweet and wonderful at her job. PS this place is the best. So fun for everyone and any occasion! Also league nights are so fun.
My daughter and I had a great time. All of the employees were incredibly nice and our wings (teriyaki and buffalo) were really good, but next time will definitely try one of the specialty flavors. Thanks for the excellent experience, and the carefree time I was able to have with my daughter.
Our 14-year old wanted to take some friends bowling for her birthday. We called the week prior and reserved 2 lanes. This was our first time at Fox's. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly. We had reserved 8 spots but only had 6 show up. The man behind the counter whose name I didn't get, was very helpful and we only had to pay for the 6 bowlers. Overall, it was a great experience, family-friendly atmosphere (with rules). Not many places today put rules in place and enforce them. Fox's strives to provide a place where your whole family can go and enjoy a night of fun and great food. I HIGHLY recommend you visit them.
My 9 year old is nuts about bowling and selected bowling as his choice of reward for a recent accomplishment. We live near Matthews so we checked on availability and prices at Bowlero, the closest alley to us. I almost dropped the phone when I saw it was going to cost us $200 for two adults and a kid to go bowling! So back to the web to look for an alternative and up pops Fox’s. I’ll make a long story short- $45 dollars got us two games and shoes at a place that was awesome! We had a blast bowling but the best part of the night was meeting the owner, Mark. That guy is a class act! When he found out how much my (shy) son loved bowling, he asked if he wanted to check out the behind the scenes part of the alley. We said yes before he finished the question and away we went. That was cool to see all the machines and hear Mark’s story. Before we left, Mark gave my son an old pin, which he immediately placed on his bedroom dresser when we got home. In his words, “this was one of my favorite nights ever.” Mark and company, thanks for keeping it old school with a cool family run business that allows families like us to enjoy an affordable night out and not have to worry about punks in the lane next to us getting out of line in front of our kids (the place is very family friendly). We will go WAY out of our way to bowl there again! (PS- Bowlero, I hope you read this. Get your greedy act together!).
