This is THE BEST sandwich shop anywhere around. I grew up in Matthews and this was my favorite sandwich shop. Bernie always knew what I liked...#13 with extra banana peppers. If you haven't been and are looking for quality food, this is the place. Great customer service, great sandwiches, priced right! Thank you Bernie!

The bread is amazing! The business has been around for years and I personally drove across town for a great sandwich vs your average sandwich chain shops. The people are personable...trust me they are huge..stuffed with fresh toppings...so worth it! My favorite is the ultimate, enough for two meals for the price of a 6 in at other places.
The bread is magical and super delicious! Freshly made in house and made nicely! Beats the competition by far!

Cheap neighborhood hole in the wall that's been around for 30 + years. That should tell you everything you need to know about how good this place is.
