Wow! So happy I found this place randomly, it’s close to Costco, I was craving for some healthy and light lunch. Have tried a couple of Poke bowls in Charlotte, the best one in uptown has shut down during pandemic. Poke Honolulu is definitely the hidden gem, very fresh ingredients, good portion, and super friendly staff, so clean inside the restaurant. Special thanks to Allie for her help on the phone and in store! We will come back very soon and make sure all of friends know this great spot for Poke ? please keep up the good work??
Freshest & tastiest poke in Charlotte. The owners are friendly, helpful, & quite generous with portions. Menu options are yummy, and making your own bowl is even better. Would love to see a few seasonal (locally sourced would be amazing) ingredients added. Customer favorite bowls could be featured as well! Excited to see this business grow
I love coming to eat here! Lots of fresh food. I'm not sure what the gentleman's name is, but he was working between 5-7 pm on 4/19/22, he's very good worker and really kind person.
A delightful poke place with lots of sauces I love.Tried a few places and was either underwhelmed or it was too expensive to go often. This place seems about perfect (no sushi burrito and no red cabbage are about the only things missing for my family, but they more than make up for it with other offerings).They also have flavored aloe water.
Was great when they first opened but went down hill after a few months. They were very generous with their portions size at first but now seem to be running on rations. The fact that it cost 30$ for two bowls of rice with 4 pieces of shrimp is mind blowing, just go to chipotle.
I finally stopped by & tried Poke on 12-28-21. I wasn't sure of what to expect. No one else was in the restaurant, & the guy got me in and out. I told the guy I liked spicy & he suggested the Moana bowl. I got light sushi rice as I've been trying to watch my carb intake. Though it was different, everything was good & filling. Believe I added crispy onions & cashews. (Had an issue w/Google Maps which is why this review is just now being left.)
Fantastic fresh food, loved making my own bowl. Everything tastes great! Great service as well. Definitely will go back!
Great, fresh food and quick service is what this place is all about. I like the fact that when you walk in you have your food in about two minutes after walking in however, I wish they would give a little more fish when making the bowls. I ordered the spicy salmon and I think I got about five, maybe six, chunks of salmon. My wife and son ordered bowls with different fish and they received the same amount. Other poke restaurants I've been to have given almost double what Poke Honolulu gave.Regardless, the food was great and tasted really fresh. I will definitely be back.
The food was incredibly fresh, from the rice to the protein and toppings. The staff was very nice and helpful. The place was impeccably clean and spotless with lovely seating.
It's a refreshing taste of fresh ingredients. It's a build your own place or you can get signature bowls that come a certain way. The food was really good. That was my first time experiencing Hawaii style food. It's great for me because it's a lot healthier for me than a lot of the surrounding restaurants. Which is what my doctor wants for me right now I can't wait to go back and try some other stuff.
