Pretty good, I had the Dragon roll and Salmon Lover roll. Dragon roll was not as good as other types of dragon rolls I've had at other sushi restaurants but the salmon and the Avocado salad was very good!
Delicious! My fave place!
An absolute gem for all sushi lovers! Fresh, delicious, all you can eat rolls ( includes specialty rolls), appetizers, soup & salad. Place is huge, clean with lots of parking & prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly & very attentive. Will definitely be back.
The food was really good and it all came out quickly too! They had plenty of staff to make rolls, our server was friendly, and overall the lunch price was very fair! Highly recommend if you want unlimited sushi!
We heard a-lot about this place esp the mathews branch and all for the right reasons. The ambience, service and food is top notch. We were in sushi heaven as the all you can eat sushis are well curated, filling and flavorful. The trick is to order slowly and fill yourself up because they charge you extra $0.50-$3.00 depending on the type of sushis that are leftover. Note rest of the items even if left out are not charged. Good thing is you are allowed to take the leftovers at home to munch in so it’s a winwin for all :) all in all a wonderful experience with friends!!
Really great variety and price. Staff is friendly and there’s only been an issue maybe once in the 10+ times we’ve gone. They do have extra options if you come for dinner. Price is 2x lunch, but still decent for the amount of food you can get. My girls love the miso soup and crab salad. We usually leave stuffed and skip breakfast to have brunch here.
I have been to Mr. Tokyo 3 times now. I like to visit a place several times before leaving a review for consistency. Every time I have been the food has been delicious and the service has been excellent. The unlimited meals include soups, salads, appetizers, hibachi, teriyaki and more. The sushi selection is large. The key is to order a little at a time to make sure you don’t have any leftovers. You can take your time eating. They don’t rush you at all. By ordering smaller portions you can guarantee you eat all that you ordered. With food prices skyrocketing, the prices are excellent. I visit another sushi restaurant and pay $20 for just two rolls, Taking that into consideration I understand why they would charge for leftovers or take home items.
If I could give them a Zero star review I would. There are several issues with this place.1. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE I CALLED TO complain about my food being damn near undercooked and ANGELICA (her name in caps because she refused to give me her but it was on my receipt) she HUNG UP ON ME and when I called back because I thought we got disconnected. When I called back she didn’t answer my call, then I called from my husband phone and she answered. When I told her what’s the issue was with my food. She stated she “didn’t understand” and made excuses that it could be a different chef etc.2. They told me 20 minutes wait it was 50 minutes. My husband was waiting in the waiting area for the food, and they never even told him it was read. Even after he had already signed the receipt and told them he was waiting.3. The chicken was pale it didn’t even look like hibachi and it was drowning in a pool of juices. She stated it was teriyaki but the flavor was minimal.Overall after being a customer with them several other times as well as the location on 51. I will no longer go to this restaurant due to poor food quality, and poor customer service. Spent almost $30 and had to go out and get more food for dinner because this was just not edible for us.
Delicious sushi made fresh to order. The staff explained the menu in detail and provided awesome service.
Great sushi and portions!
