When I moved to Matthews a few years ago this place was fast. Now not so much. About a week ago I went there lunchtime and with one person making sandwiches it took almost 10 minutes. I've also stopped using this place at the weekend, as it's impossible to park close by and parking at Costco defeats the idea of fast service. To be complete and fair, the sandwiches are still great.
I hate to leave a bad review about a Jimmy John’s store since I love Jimmy John’s but my last 3 visits have progressively gotten worse and worse at this sycamore location. I am a rewards member and I order ahead on the app with the expectation that the order will be ready on the pick up counter when I arrive (about 10 mins later) I am always having to wait 10,15 mins additional after I arrive which is totally unacceptable for Jimmy John’s speed standards, the store is staffed well and Its not like I’m coming at the busiest time.In addition, compared to other Jimmy’s johns, this locations bread is not nearly as good, my last sandwich had a lot of cracks and was stale on the outside and doughy on the inside, plus the veggies and meat quality is just ok compared to other locations.In short, Jimmy John’s food is good but not this location, drive 5-7 mins down the street to the Galleria one, you’ll definitely thank me later.
I ordered a sandwich and asked for extra topping - when received the sandwich it was wrong. I called and talked to one of the employees and asked if a new sandwich can be sent waiting over 45 mins for a new one on my lunch break and the guy was frustrated/rude when he stated I guess I will make the sandwich.
Order was totally wrong. Wrong drink and practically nothing on the sandwich when extra veggies was clearly specified. No vinegar on sandwich. Delivery lady was extremely rude, smelled like drugs, and her car had some kind of nasty white slime on the windows.
Good Quick Sub ShopWhen we arrived no one out front. Almost left because we thought they had closed. Two young men then came out of the back.Took our orders and made our food quickly. Made orders correctly and were very courteous. The flavor of the sandwiches was good, bread seemed stale (we were in at 6:30 on).Will return when we need a quick sandwich.
The food was ok but the service was terrible. Also the employees were wearing the masks below there nose or not at all. Would not recommend.
This experience would’ve been a lot better if the person making my sub was wearing a mask. Got there are 7:50 today, in case anyone needs to check the cameras.
I've only done delivery from this location but they have always been reliable, punctual, and the food has been accurate and delicious.
Not bad, friendly. Poor guys are over worked, didnt get chance to clean tbe tables so took our food to go. Sandwiches are great
I got my favorite, a Turkey Tom; I had no idea they came in a Little Jimmy. I love that a smaller version is an option ? I was delicious ?
