No lettuce,tomato,onionFish & chips was not much better than captain D's.Mushy peas couldn't get much smaller.They lit up a smoker at the bar & I had to wait outside for our takeaway.We made steak pie at home with Guinness gravy that was heads & tales better than this stuff.Tomorrow is Cornish Pastie day.We won't be back.
This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is consistently great and I love the atmosphere. The fish and chips is my go to dinner and my wife loves the Shepards pie. Another great thing is that they have a huge beer selection definitely a great place to get a good brew. The service staff is also super friendly. Honestly I'm a pros and cons kind of guy and usually I like to give a little constructive criticism but I can't really think of a bad experience I've had there. Great place, go there.
Hostess was super shy but she'll get better with time. Food was really good. Our waitress Samantha was excellent and had a great vibe. She made some really nice choices for our flights of draft beer and brought our food out in the order we preferred :) We'll be back!
Had a great last meal of 2021 here. Friendly and dare I say attractive staff! All of our orders arrived in a timely fashion and the portions were more than adequate. Fantastic selection of local brews. A little pricey but worth it! Will definitely be returning!
The food was great, although for my burger they didn’t give candy bacon, it was regular bacon, they fixed it which was fine. I had a great time here and the vibe was really nice, this place is very close to having a 5* review but it just doesn’t get there for me. I will be coming back for brunch though!
I don't have one bad thing to say about this restaurant. Cody, are incredible waiter, was patient, well-versed and what he did, and very very fun. We had a table of 10 women, nine of whom drank a lot. Cody was patient and had a great time with us and I highly recommend anybody who goes there to ask for Cody by name. The food was to die for. Please make sure you get the pimento cheese balls because wow.
Everytime we've been there it's been wonderful. Great food, nice staff, fun atmosphere! A favorite place. Irish Nachos are definitely for sharing!
Came here with my husband once and with my friends once. Both times were great! Got the chicken risotto both times because I loved it so much the first time I had to get it again. Drinks were really good here too!
Fun place with GREAT food. We had a pretzel, the onion soup, grilled cheese, truffle fries, mahi mahi and steak. We look forward to a return visit! Teagan was friendly.

Recommended, with noting opportunities to improve.Four of us, each ordering something different: Bourbon Bacon Burger, French Onion Soup, salad and grilled cheese sandwich. All our items tasted great, drink refills were taken care of quickly and the waitress was cheerful and accommodating. Opportunity: all the food arrived separately and the burger was delivered 10 minutes after everyone else was served.Moderately busy, with staffing in front of house seeming to be fine. Perhaps back of house was under staffed.Interior decor was interesting and clean.Located in downtown Matthews with lots of parking and easy access.
