We're on vacation, driving from Wilmington to Asheville, and I was jonesing hot dogs. So I found this place in Google maps and wow, excellent hot dogs and sides. Even my usual drink, unsweetened iced tea, was great. Not bitter, fresh tasting. Highly recommend.
Great taste to the bbq, also really enjoyed the potato salad. The take out portions looked small at first but they're just packed in tight!
There is a reason Hinsons has been around for 65 years.Local dive with American comfort food. Cooked fresh to order. Parking in the front is for cycles. Park in the back. Many patrons have been here for years. Don't feel intimidated! Just go in grab a seat and put in an order. Excellent place to come grab a beer and relax if you're local.
A good burger and hot dog joint. Pretty standard and great tasting. Their Mac and cheese bites are awesome!
I have been seeing this place for years off of Hwy 74 so I found their number & placed a order for a couple of chili dogs. Those were the best dogs I have had in years! I recommend you try them out. It's back in the cut so don't be scared to go back there!

I went there Friday with some friends. Hinson's has been there since the earth cooled. We always stopped there on way to the beach when I was growing up. Great dogs, burgers, etc. Great fast friendly service and great prices.
