I came out with my girl for date night, we had to remind our server that we ordered drinks. Then we had to remind him that we ordered an appetizer and he said that he forgot it was in the microwave….I kid you not. And it was not even hot! The entree was perfect but the service was less than.
Hello. I am typically a fan of this restaurant, but not now. We were going to eat in however the was a huge storm so I places the order online and had it to go. I was incredibly thirsty so I ordered a bottle of water with our 2 meals. I go in, after standing at the hostess stand for 5 minutes I was told to stand at the next bar area. There were numerous wait staff that walked by but I couldn't get anyone's attention to ask where to pick up my food. I get to the counter and get my bag and leave. I get to the car and there is no bottle of water. I go back and there are 2 young girls at the hostess stand. I told them that my water was missing only to be told that they don't have any bottles of water. One asked me if I wanted tap water and I said yes. I then turned to the other young lady and said 'so i just spent $2.50 for a cup of tap water'. The girl stared at me then looked away. 1) why was there bottled water on the menu if you are out? 2) why wasn't I told when I got my bag that an item I ordered and paid for was missing? 3) ignoring customers is NOT ok 4) why wasn't I offered or given a refund for the missing item? 5) an apology would have gone a long way rather than the whispering 6) teach your employees how to problem solve or don't have them dealing with customers. The food was pretty good. Had the above not happened I would have returned.
Came in with a party of 4 today for brunch and the hostess Ashley was so sweet but felt bad the other girl working with her was not helping at all. All servers and host were great and helpful working all together. The staff was all very professional, besides the other host and the managers in the back eating doing nothing to help their staff. Anyways everyone should try their brunch menu it’s delicious and definitely ask for the server Karoline !
$16 +tax for this??? Maybe 2 spoonfuls of mashed potatoes. This is my order of meatloaf with double mashed potatoes from the dinner menu and I receive a lunch portion (if that) in an extra large to-go container. Also no point in curbside service if nobody comes to the car and you have to go in to pick up….if too busy and not enough staff, don’t offer it. Will not be returning. Waste of money.
Food is incredible! Staff are all friendly and kind. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend. I had the shrimp and grits-fantastic! Husband had salmonwrap, portion of fresh salmon was huge! Dessert was okay, needed more strawberries. Plenty of parking, clean restaurant.
1st time trying…food is really good!!! I’m so glad it’s not to far from home. Will be a new regular now?
Heather and Bailey were a great team for us this evening. My husband, nephew and I stopped in for the first time tonight and the restaurant and service didn't disappoint! blackened salmon on grits was so good! Their Alfredo was tasty! Thank you for such a great meal and wonderful service! We will be back! Those grits were great!
Fresh chef has been a star since my first time eating there. Shrimp and grits is a knockout, the meatloaf awesome, burgers are huge. All the workers there are super respectful kind and just overall awesome.Mood is nice, dimmer lighting and outdoor area with overhead patio lighting is great for the warmer nights...Bar is great too and has been packed everytime we go. Great food, great people, great social.
